Guardiamo l'allenamento mattutino del lottatore proprio accanto al ring e sentiamo l'atmosfera intensa e seria. Il suono dei lottatori che si scontrano tra loro, il loro respiro e il profumo della fragranza che indossano sono qualcosa che non potrai mai sentire guardando nessun video. Incontrerai la tua guida turistica esperta alla stazione e camminerai fino alla stalla (10 minuti a piedi). La tua guida ti spiegherà il Sumo, la sua storia, le regole e i regolamenti prima di entrare nella stalla e poi guardarlo insieme. Vedrai gli sport tradizionali unici che sono allo stesso tempo rituali religiosi, originariamente iniziati per intrattenere le divinità shintoiste. Incontra la tua Guida prima di dirigerti verso la stalla del sumo. Preparati a scoprire questo sport Giapponese unico che ha avuto origine dalla religione dello Shintoismo. Scopri dalla tua Guida come l'origine del sumo risalga ad almeno 1500 anni fa e come preservi i rituali e gli aspetti tradizionali dello Shintoismo, pur essendo uno dei principali sport da spettatore in Giappone. Prima di sederti a terra nella stalla del sumo, scopri i sei Grandi Tornei annuali che si svolgono tutti per 15 - giorni. Tre di loro si trovano rispettivamente a Tokyo e a Osaka, Nagoya e Fukuoka.

If you’ve never been to a Sumo studio or a sumo tournament you have no idea what you’re getting into. My jaw dropped to the floor more times than I can remember and the time flew by so quickly because I was having so much new found love for this ancient tradition. Now I know I love Sumo and will make it my life mission to attend to a tournament.
