Il santuario Meiji Jingu è uno dei più iconici e significativi santuari shintoisti di Tokyo, situato ad Harajuku. Cammineremo insieme verso l'edificio principale del Santuario di Meiji Jingu mentre impareremo a conoscere la cultura e la storia. Scopriremo anche alcuni rituali tradizionali Giapponesi.
Seguendo il Santuario Meiji Jingu ci dirigeremo a Harajuku, prendendo la famosa e colorata Takeshita Street. Takeshita Street è una vivace e iconica via dello shopping situata nel quartiere Harajuku di Tokyo e offre tantissime opportunità di shopping e cibo. Continuando verso il paese delle meraviglie dello stile di strada di Harajuku: tuffati nella vivace ed eclettica scena della moda di Harajuku, dove ogni strada è una passerella. Immergiti nel caleidoscopio di colori, stili ed energia giovanile che definisce il quartiere alla moda di Tokyo. Ci dirigeremo al Tokyu Plaza per scattare delle foto fantastiche! We had an incredible experience on this private curated Tokyo tour with our guides, Jero and Robin. In just five hours, they showed us many of Tokyo’s highlights while sharing fascinating insights into Japanese culture, customs, and traditions. Their knowledge made every stop so much more meaningful. What truly set this tour apart was their patience and attentiveness. We were traveling as a multi-generational family, ranging from a 16-year-old to my 80-year-old mother, and Jero and Robin perfectly adapted the pace to suit everyone. They never made us feel rushed and were especially thoughtful and caring toward my elderly mother, making sure she was comfortable throughout the tour. We had a four-hour private tour with Jerome on June 23, 2026. The tour was amazing! We had already seen quite a bit beforehand. We coordinated our tour with Jerome before the start. He spontaneously planned everything, tailored it to us, and showed us corners we would not have seen on our own. His explanations were refreshing and perfectly matched in terms of the depth of information. You can clearly see how much joy he gets from his job. For the second time, we booked a tour through Tokyo with Jero – and it was again a great decision. The tour was varied, exciting, and full of interesting information about Japan and the city of Tokyo. Guide Jero is a fantastic guide, very dedicated, fully engaged, knowledgeable, always approachable, and takes time for requests and questions. Very likable, relaxed, uncomplicated, yet professional, genuinely concerned if one has a small problem. Personal touches beyond the standard tour are not neglected either. I can only recommend him, especially since the tour is conducted in German rather than the usual English, which is quite relaxing. FULL SCORE!!

In advance: We booked the tour at short notice the day before and chose the 8-hour guided tour. Our guide, Jero, picked us up at the hotel and we started the tour right there. He told us a lot about the different districts, mentioned fun facts along the way, and also shared a bit about life in Tokyo. The tour was casual and relaxed - it felt more like a friend showing you the city. Making stops to look at things was no problem. Throughout the journey, he also gave us tips and recommendations. We are glad that we booked this tour! It was really helpful to get an initial insight into the metropolis and made the following days easier. :) I can wholeheartedly recommend it!

Jero gave us an excellent tour including Meiji Shrine and all around Shibuya and Shinjuku, showed us how to use the train and metro systems, accommodated our need to slow down and feed our eleven year old by directing us to an exceptional ramen bar, and talked to us extensively about Japanese culture and life. He took many fun photos of our family at various sites and was focused on ensuring that we got what we wanted out of our tour. Highly recommend!

The tour was very informative, and it was also very interesting to talk with Vanessa about the history of Japan. It was also very pleasant that Vanessa picked us up from the hotel. What we found a bit disappointing was that we assumed Jero would be doing the tour with us. The day before, no one had contacted us until we reached out to inform that our tour would take place the next day.
