Tokyo Omakase Sushi & A5 Wagyu Premium Foodie Tour a Shinjuku

Greatly enjoyed our food tour with Yosh, who was a great guide. I went with my 13 year old son and there was another family with 2 teenagers, so no issues or concerns with bringing children of that age. The food was all good, and the wagyu did impress me more. Just note you’re not going to secret, local restaurants - the 3 locations are fairly accessible without a guide. The last one was gelato in the tower hotel where we were staying, for which Yosh was unnecessarily apologetic. However, to have the chance to talk more with a knowledgeable local, especially one as kind and friendly as Yosh, is a great value. Could also see the tour being of more interest/value if not staying in Shinjuku area already. However, Yosh still took us to new areas we hadn’t seen yet as well. All in all, still greatly enjoyed and would do it again!

This was an amazing tour, made even better by our excellent guide, Yosh Aida. His knowledge of Shinjuku was impressive, and he shared countless interesting facts and stories throughout the experience. The sushi and Wagyu restaurants were both exceptional, offering some of the best food we had during our trip. I will definitely visit them again on my next trip to Tokyo.

Our foodie tour with Kazu in Tokyo was a delightful introduction to Japanese cuisine. The restaurant choices, the quality of the food, and Kazu’s explanations were exactly what we were hoping for. We would like to share two small observations: we did not see a true itamae preparing sushi in front of us as described in the program; instead, the sushi was served directly at the table. We also visited only two gourmet stops rather than the three announced, with the last one limited to a single scoop of ice cream. Even so, Kazu took excellent care of our group of seven. He was thoughtful, attentive, and made sure everyone felt included. Thanks to him, we discovered the pleasures of omakase sushi and enjoyed one of the best wagyu beef dishes of our entire trip. Walking through Shinjuku and Kabukicho with him was another highlight we will remember. Our trip to Japan started on a very positive note thanks to Kazu. His professionalism and passion made a real difference.

Fantastic small group experience. Fun and very friendly guide Hiro who was already there 30 mins before the tour started. He was very welcoming and genuinely interested in all his group members. We got to experience top quality sushi we learned about the different types - the vegetarian option was really tasty too. Hiro explained the heritage of the Wagu Beef and provided a premium insight into the hype around this premium deluxe A5 brand of meat. The gelato was thd perfect way to cleanse the palate at the end of a wonderful evening. We were very lucky to have Hiro as our guide and to meet such lovely people in our group. Highly recommend this tour!

This was an absolutely amazing experience, it was great to join as part of a group at some amazing restaurants and to top it all off our guide Hiro was top notch. If we could give him more than 5 stars we would. すごい!

A Our guide was Tadashi, he kept things lively and entertaining. He took us to three different locations to eat and talked about the history and culture of neighborhood we walked through. The food was great at each location and portions were satisfying without being overwhelming. The meeting place was as described but the construction in the area made it a little harder find, it took us maybe one more minute searching.

Brilliant evening with Hiro - he was a pleasant, entertaining and informative guide who took time to explain both Shinjuku and the delicious food! Great sushi and wagu, in lovely restaurants - and a scoop of gelato to finish. A great experience!

We had an amazing time on this Shinjuku foodie tour! Hiro was an outstanding guide - kind, knowledgeable, and made the experience so enjoyable. With only one other guest, it felt almost like a private tour for our family of four. The food was incredible - it was the best sushi I’ve ever had, and our teens couldn’t stop talking about the wagyu. We highly recommend this tour, and if you’re lucky enough to get Hiro as your guide, you’re in for a fantastic experience!
