I am Japanese, and as a fellow Japanese citizen, I am proud of Mei-sensei. She has not only taught us how to use brushes and ink, but has also shown us the significance and beauty of Japan’s ancient culture and traditions. I hope you too, will experience this special moment of Zen. Mei-sensei, I’m sure we’ll meet again someday.
We had a great experience with calligraphy, together with our excellent instructor Kiyo. She was both very knowledgeable and motivational. She encouraged us when we tried to master the art ourselves, especially when we kept failing. Both our teenages, aged 14 and 18, were also very happy with the experience.
It was a very fun expirience and our instructur (Kiyo) was a so fun to be with! Thank you!
I took this calligraphy class with my family and it was incredible!! Our instructor, Mei, was so supportive, patient, and clear in her teaching. It was very interesting to practice calligraphy, as well as learn about the history of it. It was such a calm experience that it was like meditating; so peaceful! I would totally recommend to everyone it was a 10/10

This was a wonderful experience! I highly recommend this educational activity! Kiyo was our fabulous instructor. She gave us great historical information and patient support in learning the brushstrokes. She made everyone feel like a rockstar!
