Prima sosta per una breve pausa al balcone panoramico in vetro della Boga Valley
Il picco di Thore è il punto più alto della strada per Thethi (1700m) dove si potrebbe avere una sosta per una pausa caffè con la vista più mozzafiato delle cime nei dintorni.
La prima escursione per la giornata all'Occhio Blu di Kaprre inizia a Nderlysa, un piccolo e pittoresco villaggio vicino a Thethi. Il sentiero è moderato e dura circa 2 ore andata e ritorno, conducendo attraverso boschi sereni, sentieri rocciosi e lungo limpidi torrenti di montagna. Il momento clou è raggiungere il Blue Eye, una splendida sorgente turchese circondata da una vegetazione lussureggiante e rocce coperte di muschio davvero un luogo magico nel cuore delle Alpi albanesi! Dopo l’escursione facciamo una pausa pranzo (facoltativo non incluso) dove possiamo gustare la cucina tradizionale in una delle famiglie locali della valle.
L'escursione verso la Cascata parte dal Canyon Grunas. L'escursione dura circa 50-60 minuti, a seconda del ritmo. Godetevi l'ambiente sereno, con il suono dell'acqua che scorre e il canto degli uccelli che vi accompagna. La cascata è una splendida cascata di 30 metri, circondata da rocce muschiose e vegetazione vivace. È un luogo perfetto per rilassarsi, scattare foto e godersi la nebbia rinfrescante delle cascate.
L'iconica Chiesa di Theth è un affascinante e storicamente significativo punto di riferimento situato nel cuore del villaggio di Theth, all'interno delle Alpi albanesi. Costruita nel 1892, questa chiesa in pietra e ghiaia testimonia il ricco patrimonio culturale e architettonico della regione. La Lock-in Tower of Theth, conosciuta anche come “Kulla e Ngujimit”, è un affascinante monumento storico e culturale situato nel villaggio di Theth. Questa torre di pietra fortificata è profondamente legata alle tradizioni e alla storia dell’Albania settentrionale, in particolare al “Kanun di Lekë Dukagjini”, un insieme di leggi consuetudinarie che hanno governato la regione per secoli.

We had an incredible day hiking and exploring! Marjan was an excellent tour guide and we felt safe in his hands. It was also very nice being a part of a small group as opposed to the larger groups we saw throughout the day. We would highly recommend this experience to anyone.

Great hiking day to Blue Eye and Grunas Waterfall under the professional guidance of Marjan. He’s an experienced driver and hiker, and has a lot of history to share. Very personal guidance with a small group of 7 people. He takes the best pictures and shared a great drone video of our group. Also clear and good communication before the tour etc. We decided to stay overnight in Theth to experience more of the mountains, and drove back with him the next day. I would recommend his tour to anyone.
My sister and I had the pleasure of touring the Albanian Alps with Marjan. The tour was absolutely worth it, not only because the mountain roads require an experienced driver, but because Marjan's knowledge of the region is incredible. He seemed to know everything about the area's history, culture, and landscape, which made the experience so unique. What really stood out was how genuinely motivated Marjan was to make sure everyone had the best possible experience. He was welcoming, engaging, and clearly passionate about sharing this beautiful part of the world. We never felt rushed, and it was obvious he cared about making the tour memorable for everyone. I truly can't imagine a better way to explore the Albanian Alps. I'll definitely be booking another tour with Marjan the next time I'm back in the region!
This day takes you to the stunning and diverse places around and in the Theth National Park. Panoramas and hikes are on the agenda. You will not be disappointed. Lunch in the village of Theth, located in the heart of the mountains, allows you to recharge both physically and mentally; do not hesitate to try the traditional cuisine! An essential day in my opinion if you truly want to see Northern Albania, especially the Albanian Alps, without undertaking the 3-day trek (Koman/Valbona/Theth). A big thank you to our guide and driver Marjan from Thethi Adventures for his incredibly precise driving through the mountains, his good humor, and his explanations about the history and issues of Northern Albania, particularly this national park. A memorable day! Very good memories!
The tour was organized super well, and the guide was very nice. We stopped at multiple viewpoints on the way there and back and were well accommodated throughout the whole trip. Marjan was explaining everything and all the history, would really recommend this tour! He also took some photos and shots of us with his drone.
The Albanian Alps are beautiful; during the trip, one enjoys a wonderful landscape, and the two proposed excursions are very nice from a naturalistic point of view.
Unbelievable one day tour will never forget it! Truly an inspirational guide and really educated us about Albania and the Alps.
