Great experience and the amazing trip at Komani lake and Shala river. Evetything was well organised and communication prior to the trip was spot on. Bus was waiting for us at the arranged pick up point We arrived at the Komani lake with the bus and then we were split in two groups as we had different wrist bands which indicated the location of the trip. We had to walk 20 min in the tunnel and arriwed at the boats meeting point. The boat coatch directed us to the correct boat and we went on a journey to the amazing Shala River(Lumi i Shales).We had to pass through the amazing Komani lake a beautiful lake with glistening green/blue colour.The coatch explained the history of the lake and was very friendly. Mesmerising beauty waited for us at the Shala River after 1 hour and 30 min . Cristal blue water flowing straight from the mountains.We had 3 hours to spend there with options to swim,kyak or just strall around.Also there were many restaurants to enjoy different specialities from Albanian cousine. The journey back was the same, Boat to the meeting point ,bus to our starting point. But unfortunately on the way back our bus engine failed.Driver managed to restart it once but it failed for the second time. But very shortly other buses helped us and one small bus took half of the passenger back with the others to follow shortly. Finally we arrived at our hotel. Overall it was a great experience and the place was so beautiful which can't be explained in words.Definitely an amazing advanture for a day.

We booked one day visit for Shala river. Great experience! We were picked up by bus on time from Shkoder, also by boat on time. Road is very good, we had one stop for coffee and toilet. Boat is fast enough, you don't need kacket, but you can bring if you get cold fast. Tunel between bus and boat has light, so you walk ih light, not in dark. Water is crystal clear! Beautiful! You can rent kayak (one hour is enough I think). There are plenty of restaurants where you can eat and drink. Water is a bit cold but refreshing for hot summer day. I kindly recommend!
A great day trip, the water wonderful. The rented kayak was the highlight for us. Sure, it is a tourist hotspot, but it is worth it.

Very nice boat trip across Lake Komani. The trip took over an hour by boat so you really had time to enjoy the beautiful nature. When you arrived in Shala it was time for a cold refreshing bath and lunch at one of the nice restaurants.
We had a lovely experience. Was a great day out. Our driver picked us up from our hotel as it was a few minutes from the meeting point and communication via WhatsApp, kept everything running smoothly with all details shared the day before the trip. Would definitely recommend this trip, its a beautiful place.
