Uno degli oltre 200 segni storici dell'isola, questa è l'ex residenza di Olga Samaroff che è nota per infestare ancora oggi la casa.

Solo a una persona è mai piaciuto vivere al Normandy Inn ed è stato l'uomo che ha portato il satanismo sull'isola. Una settimana dopo la costruzione, un ragazzino si gettò dalla finestra... E VISSUTO. Quando gli è stato chiesto perché ha fatto una cosa del genere, ha risposto: “Qualcosa di malvagio stava per uccidermi”. Ora The Normandy Inn è diventato un luogo di pellegrinaggio per coloro che praticano il voodoo, la magia nera, il satanismo e l'arte delle streghe. Molti rituali sacrificali si sono svolti qui tra cui... UN UMANO! Ad oggi, è ancora usato come portale l'inferno.
Molti ospiti di questo hotel hanno raccontato storie di una signora sola che vagava per i corridoi, alcuni anche avendo conversazioni complete con lei. Ma la mattina, rendendosi conto che non è mai esistita affatto!

I very much appreciated that they didn't use any gimmicks to make things look haunted (if I want that, I'll go with a Halloween event). Jeff, my tour guide, just recounted the stories and showed us places. I also appreciated that when telling stories like that of Robert Durst, he kept away from the house since it is a private residence (I'm sure the owner appreciates the respect, too). After the story, Jeff took the group by there for pictures. I was a little disappointed I didn't see anything, but I mostly came for the stories anyway. And I'd rather they not pay someone to pretend just so everyone "sees a ghost."
I enjoyed the cemetery tour. It would have been better had the tour guide not been so worried about the homeless guy walking around who wasn’t bothering us

Thomas was such an awesome story teller and we learned so much about Galveston history and about the ghosts around the strand. Definitely reccomend. Took some random photos of the Railroad station and zoomed in. Did I just catch a pic Mr Watson?
