Our tour of Tallinn was great. Roman, our guide, was charming, and very knowledgeable about the sights, history, and culture of Tallinn. We saw many beautiful sights and landmarks and learned quite a bit of the history of the city.
The tour operator "Helsinki Tours" was one of the best company I dealt with. They were great in understanding what we need and when. They were excellent with their communication. As far as the Guide goes, it was one of the most horrible experience we had. Our was very poor in her English and she was so soft spoken that no one understood more than half of the things she said. She was more like mumbling than talking to us. As long as you get a good guide this company is great to work with, and I highly recommended them. We did have an organize tour with them next day the guide was super and well spoken.
The instructions for taking the ferry were very clear. Our guide in Tallinn was excellent and she shared so many facts and fun stories about the history of Estonia. She also provided a list of places to eat lunch, shop, and museums to visit during our free time. Our instructions for getting back to the ferry were very clear.
Roman was an outstanding guide and clearly passionate about the history of his beloved hometown. He answered all our questions and shared great stories and information about the city of Tallinn. This was a wonderful way to experience Estonia. The logistics of taking the ferry and being picked up at the harbor in Tallinn were extremely smooth and user-friendly.
Svetlana, our guide, was fantastic.
Svetlana was an exceptional tour guide. Very knowledgable and with a great ability to pass on her knowledge. She presented with grace and humour.
Great history walk (on cobblestones). Damian very organized, knowledgeable and friendly. Already planning a return to area to see in late spring!
The experience was professional and intersting from start to finish. Roman was an impressive guide. He was informative and answered all our questions. The places and sights were amazing. We have left the tour feeling positive and hope to return to the country one day.
We had a great experience on this tour. Our guide, Irina, was knowledgeable and provided a thorough explanation of each site that we visited. We had four kids under 10 along for the tour and Irina was incredibly patient with us. Having never visited Estonia before, I knew very little about the history of Tallin. I am so glad that we didn’t attempt to tour by ourselves and instead booked this experience. We left with a deep appreciation of the rich history of Tallin and the hospitality of the Estonian people. 10/10 recommend.
Irene was a fantastic guide. Very knowledgeable and switched on to the needs of the group. We had a family with four well behaved young children and her ability to recognize what was needed was exceptional. Thanks Irene for making the tour pleasurable. You have a beautiful Old City.
