Itinerario

I was the only person on the morning tour today and I had a blast! Nando had so many fascinating insights about the food, Cartagena as a whole, and he seemed to know everybody as we walked to our various destinations. His constant energy, made for a fun few hours. And best of all, the food was very good! I’ve already told a few people in my life about how much fun I had this morning!
Legacy was a great tour guide! He had a very friendly and energetic demeanor and did a great job of hyping us up and informing us about the tastings as well as tidbits of history or folklore of Cartagena. The food was served in generous portions and by the end we were too full for comfort. Wear comfortable shoes and be ready for the weather there was a lot of walking! Would highly recommend this tour to those that are hungry and adventurous eaters.
I had a fantastic experience on the food tour with Dani. She was incredibly knowledgeable and brought each stop to life by explaining not only the food, but also its history and cultural significance, while sharing her own perspective as a Cartagena native. Her warm and welcoming personality made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. The variety of food was outstanding and offered incredible value. We enjoyed fresh seafood, arepas, empanadas, soups, tropical fruits, coffee, desserts, and local drinks, with generous portions at every stop…I left completely stuffed. There is no need to eat prior to. Every location we visited was welcoming and memorable, and the tour itself was a great walk through the Walled City and beyond. It was the perfect way to experience Cartagena’s food, culture, and history all in one morning. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone looking for an authentic, delicious, and well-curated experience.
Lots of good food/drinks and great guide Karen! Also a lot of good info about the city and the areas we walked by. 2,5 hours went by too quickly!
Legacy was an amazing guide! Not only did we get to experience the food, he did a wonderful job of educating us on cultural tidbits and insights. He was very engaging and enthusiastic. The food was in generous proportions, and we were very full by the end. We definitely tried food that we may not have otherwise. All in all a great tour and highly recommend!
Great experience. Great value. Recommend without hesitation. Liz was excited to share her vibrant city with us. Also, this your was very professionally run. There were actually two guides with us. One person ran ahead to keep everything working smoothly.
Thank you Mercedes for a great tour despite the heat! We loved the local gems we discovered! My favorite one is pan de bono!
Our tour guide, Mercedes, was very pleasant; however, her accent was quite pronounced, and she spoke rather quickly, making it challenging to understand her at times. The food tour featured a number of breaded items, and I had anticipated a slightly different selection. The most enjoyable dishes were the ceviche and chicken empanadas, which were served at the beginning and end of the tour, respectively. Oh, and the Getsemani area was supposed to be part of the tour from what I understood, it was mentioned in the description, but my family and I had to walk around and explore that on our own.
The tour was very good and informative , he talked about the city and we tried some amazing food. Would recommend 10/10. Hernando is the best
Booked a tour for a few days within our visit to Colombia. We met near the clock tower and started the tour a few minutes after our meeting time. It's a bit pricier than what you'd spend going to these places alone, but being able to learn more about the history of the food and local culture made it worth it. The added security of moving with a group was nice too. The tour lasted about ~2 hours. Alvaro was our tour guide and he was great. He was a knowledgeable and funny guy, someone I'd love to tour with again. If you're able to get him as a guide you won't regret it!
