Unisciti a noi per un tour a piedi rilassante attraverso le splendide Stellenbosch Winelands, dove il vino di classe mondiale incontra la ricca storia locale. Daremo il via alla splendida tenuta vinicola di Tokara, di livello mondiale, immergendoci nel paesaggio prima di vagare lungo i sentieri panoramici fino a Thelema per una degustazione rilassata e guidata. Poi si torna a Tokara per una deliziosa esperienza sensoriale (sì, più vino e ampie vedute del Capo, dove vedrai Table Mountain a Cape Point in una sola vista). Per concludere la giornata, scendiamo nell'affascinante tenuta vinicola Zorgvliet, per degustare due vini aziendali perfettamente abbinati. Itinerario
Ci ritroviamo alla Tokara Delicatessen, circondati da suggestive sculture e arte contemporanea, prima di partire per i vigneti. Ci aggiriamo per una bella passeggiata che ci porta a quella che potrebbe essere la vista più mozzafiato del Capo, dove ci fermiamo per stappare una bottiglia di bollicine e prendere tutto.
La nostra passeggiata ci porta poi dolcemente in discesa verso Thelema Wine Estate, oltre file di imponenti alberi di eucalipto che conferiscono ai vini la loro tipica freschezza alla menta. Arriviamo nella calda e invitante sala degustazione della tenuta, dove assaggiamo i vini acclamati di Thelema, compresi quelli orgogliosamente versati all’inaugurazione di Nelson Mandela.
Risaliamo poi attraverso Thelema e entriamo nell'elegante sala degustazione di Tokara, dove le viste dal pavimento al soffitto si aprono su alcuni dei paesaggi più spettacolari del Capo. Qui ci soffermiamo su una degustazione curata dei vini acclamati di Tokara, considerati tra i migliori della regione.
Seguiamo poi una stradina incantata che si snoda attraverso la valle e ci conduce a Zorgvliet, la più antica azienda vinicola della regione. Ricca di storia e fascino, Zorgvliet ci invita a rallentare e gustare una degustazione dei loro bellissimi vini in un ambiente che sembra senza tempo.
Dopo la nostra degustazione a Zorgvliet, torniamo alla Gastronomia Tokara da dove è iniziato il tour.

Completely amazing. Geoff runs a really great tour.
We absolutely loved the Stellenbosch Wine Walk and would recommend it to anyone visiting the Cape Winelands. Geoff was an incredible host and guide, bringing so much energy, knowledge, and personality to the day. It felt far more personal and authentic than a standard wine tour. The walk itself was stunning, taking us through beautiful vineyard landscapes with visits to three exceptional wine farms. Each tasting was unique and expertly chosen, giving us a wonderful sense of the diversity and quality of Stellenbosch wines. What really made the experience stand out was Geoff’s storytelling and deep understanding of the region’s history, wine culture, and people. He created such a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere that the whole day felt effortless and enjoyable from beginning to end. Everything was perfectly paced and thoughtfully organised, with the ideal balance of walking, wine, scenery, and conversation. The combination of spectacular surroundings, outstanding wines, and Geoff’s genuine passion made this one of the highlights of our trip to South Africa. A truly memorable and world-class experience. The Stellenbosch Wine Walk was one of the absolute highlights of our time in the Cape Winelands. Geoff was exceptional from start to finish. Completely worthwhile and an absolutely amazing experience. The Stellenbosch Wine Walk was beautifully put together with incredible scenery, excellent wines, fascinating stories, and a wonderful relaxed atmosphere throughout the day. It felt authentic, personal, and far more special than a standard wine tour. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience the true beauty and spirit of Stellenbosch.

What a very fun and interesting walking tour this tour was. In 4 to 5 hours, our tour guide Geoff took us into a piece of history, explained the flora and fauna and discussed countless other topics. Meanwhile, the breathtaking nature could be enjoyed. It was a walking tour with a personal complexion which we really liked. The wine tastings are lavish. You get to taste very different wines in three completely different wineries. The snacks on the way are good. Tips: Easily wear (hiking) shoes, wear a cap or hat against the sun, apply some oil and make sure you have breakfast.
Despite my husband and I feeling under the weather we decided to get up and out early for this trip and we were so happy we did. As an experienced travel guide author Geoff was a mine of information about the region and its history delivered with an abundance of humour. This trip is a gentle walk and taking in of the views stopping at four winemakers for tasting along route. Don’t be concerned about the walk. It’s not a route march. In our opinion it was a much better way to see, feel, taste and smell the region and its wine than any tram or bus tour. If you haven’t already booked this tour , why not? book it now!

It's not exhausting. Great scenery, beautiful wineries and a very nice group. Jeff has told a lot of interesting stories.
This tour with Geoff was absolutely brilliant. His wit and charm really enhances the day as did our fellow guests. If you are concerned about the walking the don’t as it’s just a gentle meander through the vines and olive groves. Thelima in particular was a fabulous winery and our host was an incredible lady who enhanced the experience with her humour. Don’t just think about this trip do it. Much better than an anonymous taxi or wine tram.
