La barca è bella e silenziosa e non ci sono fumi di benzina o gas di scarico, è anche buona per avvicinarsi alla fauna selvatica senza disturbarla. Miriamo a trattare questo fragile ecosistema con rispetto e avere un impatto minimo, la nostra barca non crea una scia quindi non erodiamo le mangrovie. Siamo l'unica barca con "Croc Cam"; un video digitale con un ottimo zoom per mostrare animali difficili da vedere su un grande schermo. La fauna selvatica include coccodrilli d'acqua salata, serpenti, rane e uccelli e anche l'interpretazione dell'ambiente delle mangrovie. L'azienda è di proprietà e gestione locale della famiglia e va avanti dal 2002. Offriamo un'esperienza ecologica unica con un impatto minimo; vedere, ascoltare e annusare la natura al meglio. Offriamo anche crociere più lunghe di due o tre ore solo su prenotazione, massimo 10 persone ideali per la fotografia o coloro che desiderano un tour più lungo e personalizzato.

Avvicinati alla natura ... ascolta, annusa e sperimenta senza rumori e fumi. Sappi che ti è piaciuto vedere coccodrilli e altri animali selvatici senza avere alcun impatto su di essi. Dobbiamo solo barca a energia solare sul fiume Daintree. Abbiamo un tasso di successo del 99% * per avvistare coccodrilli, eccellenti opportunità di birdwatching e altre possibilità di fauna selvatica come serpenti, rane, granchi e pesci. La tua guida interpretativa esperta è abituata alle sfumature del fiume, della foresta pluviale e delle mangrovie e può individuare un'incredibile varietà di fauna selvatica che non vedresti necessariamente da solo. La barca è dotata dell'esclusivo "CROC CAM" per mostrare coccodrilli e animali selvatici ben mimetizzati. A causa della natura imprevedibile della fauna selvatica, se ti perdi di vedere un coccodrillo puoi tornare di nuovo gratuitamente.

Great passionate tour guide and we throughly enjoyed the cruise with many sightings of wildlife. This is a smaller boat so all passengers get an excellent front row view! We were 15 mins over time due to abundance of sightings and the guide was very nice to take the time to extend the trip.
I absolutely loved this tour. The boat only had one row of people each side so it was easier to see the crocodiles. We saw several crocodiles plus a snake. The guide was brilliant. So knowledgable and he made it fun with that great Aussie wit. His passion for looking after these creatures was apparent which was helpful for us to learn to enjoy and respect them. I’d easily do this tour again if I ever come back to FNQ.
We had a great time on the 1 hr crocodile cruise yesterday. Our guide was super knowledgeable and answered all our kids questions. We saw 5 crocs in our 1 hr and in general had a chilled out great time!
Great experience on this 1-hour crocodile tour with Solar Whisper. Exactly what we were after: a knowledgeable guide who was respectful of the crocodiles living in the area, as well as the wider ecosystem and wildlife of the Daintree. I’m sorry I forgot his name, but I definitely remember Peppa! 😉 At this time of year, you’re almost guaranteed to spot crocodiles, and the four different tour operators on the river share information about where they’ve been spotted. The main difference with Solar Whisper is the boat. It holds a maximum of 20 people, and the U-shaped seating means everyone is guaranteed a seat along the edge, so you’re really close to the crocodiles and have a great view. The other boats we saw looked much bigger and more crowded. Highly recommend Solar Whisper if you want a more intimate experience and a great opportunity to see the crocodiles up close.
It was really fun. The guide was super. He talked about the crocodiles as if they were old acquaintances. We now know who is involved with whom and also who cannot stand whom ;-)
Excellent hour spent on the water with the excellent David driving and providing commentary. Got us close enough to crocs to get some decent pics. Would have loved to spend a little longer on the river but two hour trip was not available! Excellent boat, host and commentary. Well done. Hope to get back soon.
The best authentic tour going loved it all Great to see David back with his wonderful boat. The information was interesting and delivered with passion and real life experiences. There were so many crocs out on our tour - I been at different seasons throughout the years and even when I didn’t see a croc the Daintree is majestic and the Solar whisper boat is so quiet which makes it very serene.Seeing Scareface was a highlight ❤️
The tour was just amazing and our tour guide Mark was even more! We got to see at least 4 massive crocodiles in their environment and it was impressive. Mark was super nice in every moment and we learnt a lot about these big fellows. Thanks for the experience!
Saw some very big crocodiles happy to be in a boat.
We highly recommend the guided tour with Solar Whisper. The electric boat allows you to approach the animals without disturbing or scaring them. We had a great time thanks also to the explanations of our guide who knew how to communicate his passion for nature to us. A big thank you for this superb trip which is a real break in time.
