Il Palazzo Reale a Torino è uno dei monumenti più importanti della città, insieme alla Mole Antonelliana e a Palazzo Madama. Il Palazzo Reale è stato la residenza dei Savoia, la famiglia che ha regnato dall'inizio del Regno d’Italia, nel 1861, fino alla proclamazione della Repubblica nel 1946. Durante questa visita, potrai ripercorrere i passi che la famiglia reale ha tracciato molti anni fa. Rivivrai i giorni storici, passando attraverso le stesse stanze in cui il regno stesso fu creato: la stanza del trono, la stanza in cui il re firmò lo Statuto Albertino, e molte altre sale, come quella da ballo, che ospitava molti eventi, feste e cerimonie. Infine, arriverai alla Cappella della Sacra Sindone, costruita in stile Barocco, appositamente per ospitare la reliquia di Gesù Cristo. Sfortunatamente oggi non si trova più in questa stanza, dopo che un incendio l’ha quasi distrutta viene conservata in un luogo più sicuro, ma l'edificio va assolutamente visto per la sua bellezza e la sua importanza storica.

Nadia did a fantastic job explaining the history of the palace and the Savoy dynasty. It was our second tour of the day with her and we were delighted she was our guide. A very interesting tour. Highly recommended.
This was an awesome tour. The palace is big from the outside, but hidden behind its plain walls is a grand experience of wealth and history. Our guide was absolutely lovely and passionate about the history of the palace. I’m not going to pretend I had a lot of context going in, but I’ve now got a base understanding of the Savoys and how they ended up ruling Italy. Definitely looking forward to learning more! Overall, it’s a gorgeous building with lots of art, armor and design that anyone would find interesting. Intersect that with history from our guide and it was a ton of fun.

Alessio was a great guide! The tour was very informative and interesting. It was great to see all the highlights of the palace and understand the history and context. I was pleasantly surprised to also visit the breathtaking Chapel of the Shroud on the tour. Also pleasantly surprised that there was an art museum (Renaissance paintings by great masters and sculptures in the part we saw) and Roman antiquities museum included in the ticket (after the palace tour concluded). Great experience! Would highly recommend.
