Il delta del Mekong è la regione più meridionale del Vietnam. È spesso definita come la ciotola di riso del Vietnam, in quanto produce tre raccolti all'anno. La fertile valle del delta del Mekong è famosa anche per i suoi frutti tropicali e i fiori. L'area del delta segna la fine di un viaggio di 4.500 km effettuato dal fiume Mekong, dopo aver attraversato sei paesi. Mỹ Tho è una delle più grandi città del delta del Mekong, costellata da pacifiche pagode buddiste e circondata da fitti fiumi. Molte grandi destinazioni turistiche sono state stabilite dal governo locale e da società private, che servono migliaia di turisti ogni giorno. Orario di ritiro: tra le 8:00 e le 8:00 - 08:30 negli hotel situati nel Distretto 1; e guida per 1,5 ore fino al fiume Mekong. Ci fermeremo lungo la strada per un rinfresco e servizi igienici.
All'arrivo, sali a bordo di un motoscafo e immergiti nella bellezza mozzafiato del fiume Mekong mentre navighiamo lungo i suoi pittoreschi canali e corsi d'acqua, ammirando viste mozzafiato delle leggendarie isole del drago, dell'unicorno, della tartaruga e della fenice.
Dalla barca, godrai della vista del ponte Rạch Miễu, una delle più grandi campate costruite dai vietnamiti del fiume Mekong.
Mentre attraversiamo il fiume fino al villaggio di Bến Tre, faremo una sosta in un laboratorio tradizionale dove potrai assistere alla lavorazione passo dopo passo della produzione di caramelle al cocco, coltivazione del miele e altro ancora, mentre ti concedi alcuni deliziosi assaggi e godendo dei suoni della musica tradizionale. Scopri il fascino della vita locale facendo un tranquillo giro in sampan lungo il canale ombroso e ventilato, remato da gente amichevole. Successivamente, sali su un Xe Lôi, un tipo di trasporto locale, per esplorare i villaggi.
