Combina visite turistiche e rafting sul fiume in questa rilassante escursione a terra a Skagway. Goditi un bellissimo viaggio di 16 km lungo la costa fino alla Dyea Valley, un antico insediamento della corsa all'oro ricco di storia. Durante il viaggio potresti avvistare foche, aquile e altri animali selvatici (tuttavia gli avvistamenti di animali selvatici non sono garantiti). Guarda l'inizio del famoso Chilkoot Trail, dove migliaia di persone viaggiarono alla ricerca dell'oro nel 1898. Equipaggiati con giubbotti di salvataggio, stivali di gomma e poncho antipioggia (se necessario) per una nuotata pacifica (circa 40 minuti) attraverso la lussureggiante foresta costiera con montagne visualizzazioni. Goditi la natura lontano dalla folla in una splendida cornice dell'Alaska.

CI INCONTRIAMO PRESSO LA TUA AREA RIUNIONI DEL MOLO DELLE NAVI DA CROCIERA. Non andare in un molo di nave da crociera diverso dal tuo. Non seguire la posizione della mappa. Cerca un rappresentante con un cartello SKAGWAY FLOAT TOURS. Si prega di essere 10 - 15 minuti in anticipo. In alternativa, ci si può incontrare presso il nostro ufficio in centro tra la 3a e Broadway nella hall del Golden North Hotel. Cerca la Grande Cupola d'Oro sulla cima dell'edificio. Si prega di effettuare il check-in con il nostro personale dell'ufficio minimo 20 minuti prima della partenza del tour se si desidera il ritiro dell'ufficio. Il ritiro del molo della nave è predefinito per i passeggeri delle navi da crociera a meno che non effettui il check-in presso il nostro ufficio per il ritiro o chiami in anticipo per cambiare il ritiro.

It was a delightful and relaxing float down the river. Our tour guide, Danny, welcomed us and made us feel at ease. He was full of interesting historical and scientific facts about the region. It was a special treat to have a native tour guide from Skagway who had insightful and personal stories about his hometown. We saw a few eagles nests, an eagle and breathtaking scenery!!!
Shaggy was our guide and he did a great job taking us down the river and talking to us about the area. The staff made sure we had rain boots and life vests and snacks at the end. It was fun and relaxing and a great way to see an interesting part of Skagway.
We booked The Scenic River Float Tour through Viator and the company was Skagway Float Tours. There were 10 people in our group. A family of 6, my husband and I and 1 other couple. We had a great time and we were all comfortable with each other for our 3 hours together. We were picked up at the ship, but they can pick you up in downtown Skagway. Erin was our guide, she was; excellent, informative, knowledgable and friendly. She drove us to the town of Dyea, telling us a lot of history and info about the area. This area is famous fro the Klondike Gold Rush. We stopped at a scenic point along the way for pictures. The color of the water is amazing, a bluish green. We then went to the river and we were given rubber boots and lifejackets. We then began our 40 minute float that was completely flat, no rapids. Erin answered our questions and pointed things out. The scenery was beautiful and the ride was peaceful.
Helpful staff was accommodating for pick up and drop off locations. Fun easy going float. No effort needed from you. Didn’t see much wildlife as I think we were in a pretty high travel area.
Awesome trip with Joe the tour guide. Very relaxing. No rapids. No experience required. Just have to be able to sit on side of raft and lift your legs over into the boat. All ages can enjoy. Still good in rain. Saw eagles. Second time we have done this. Previously with Owen who had interesting story about his modeling experience.
Relaxing float trip, knowledgeable guide. We booked this last minute after another tour cancelled on us. It was nice to get out of town and see a little scenery. We saw an Eagle up close. It was relaxing and also good to have only a small group of 9.

Rowin’ Owen was a wonderful tour guide, talking about all the hiking and nature in and around Dyea, and giving us some historical information about the gold rush in Skagway. He was very informative and considerate. Tour was super well organized and we got super lucky with beautiful weather for our river float tour. Was a lovely afternoon.
We really loved this activity. It’s relaxing, chill, and so peaceful floating down the lazy Taiya River. The scenery is beautiful and the guide was very professional and knowledgeable. He directed our raft skillfully around trees and safely under bridges. I’m kind of fussy, and I have no complaints. Really a great experience!
Tour was great. Locally owned. Saw a brown black bear with 2 cubs on the way back from the float. Highly recommend.
