Itinerario
Dopo più di un secolo come luogo di villeggiatura, Cascais gode di una certa notorietà che manca alle località più recenti. La sua storia è visibile nelle ville lungo la costa. La baia sabbiosa riparata era un tempo un porto peschereccio preistorico.
Prima di spostarti verso Cabo da Roca, potresti voler fare una passeggiata nel centro storico di Sintra. Questo è un buon momento per riposare, pranzare e provare alcuni dolci tradizionali regionali. Cabo da Roca, il punto più occidentale dell'Europa continentale, è ancora un altro ottimo posto per scattare alcune foto e sentire la brezza del mare.
Decolliamo da Lisbona in mattinata diretti direttamente al Palazzo Pena, patrimonio dell'UNESCO. Il palazzo romantico del XIX secolo è una meraviglia da scoprire e che non dimenticherete presto. È uno dei posti migliori per scattare foto. È posta in cima alla montagna con una splendida vista che si estende per chilometri, fino all’Oceano. ( Monumento suggerito )
Faremo una passeggiata nel centro storico di Sintra. Questo è un buon momento per riposarsi, pranzare e provare alcuni dolci tradizionali regionali. Avrai a disposizione un'ora di tempo libero!
La splendida Quinta da Regaleira è un altro sito patrimonio dell'UNESCO che ha edifici scolpiti in modo antico, giardini incredibili e una brezza gotica che incanterà chiunque osi entrarvi. Pieno di storia alle spalle, imparerai tutto sulle grotte, i pozzi segreti e l'arte che ha avuto origine dalla Massoneria, dai Templari e dalla Croce Rosa. ( Monumento suggerito )
Questa magnifica proprietà è una giungla di alberi esotici e arbusti fioriti. La sua storia risale al tempo dei Mori, ma prende il nome da una piccola cappella del XVI secolo dedicata a Nostra Signora di Monteserrat, dalla Catalogna, in Spagna. ( Monumento suggerito )
Nel cuore del villaggio di Sintra, una coppia di insoliti camini conici sorgono sopra il Palazzo Reale. Questo palazzo divenne il rifugio estivo preferito della corte e continuò, come residenza dei reali portoghesi, fino agli anni '80. La graduale ricostruzione del palazzo risultò in un affascinante amalgama di stili. ( Monumento suggerito )

We had the tour with Ana, and she was amazing! We loved that she was so knowledgeable and explained the history briefly. When you ask follow up questions, she will get into more details about what you are seeing. She was friendly and a delight to spend the day with. I couldn’t envision a better tour guide.
My friend and I just did the half day tour with Filipe and he was the best! He shared a lot of history about everywhere we passed by and was very sweet. Our half day tour turned into a full day tour as he made sure we took our time and visited everything we had planned. We were very lucky he was able to escort us on most stops and personally guide us through and share a lot of great info. He was able to take many photos of us and shared via whatsapp which was so nice. He was even able to add a quick stop for is to Pasteis de Belem just so I could a few up and bring back with us. Highly recommend this experience if you want to be taken care of and could not be more happy Filipe was our guide.

This was a great tour. Although expensive, it was good value for the cost. Our tour guide Ana picked us up, dropped us off at two separate places to explore, and then accompanied us thru the Pena Palace. We were able to skip the line, as promised. Ana was so nice, drove expertly, and helped to make it a great day. She even recommended a beach to us that we went to the next day, and loved. We didn’t have a lot of time in Lisbon, so this quick tour made sense for us to be able to see Pena Palace. The traffic/parking situation in Sintra seemed really challenging and we didn’t have to deal with any of it. Ana took care of everything …. And she made it look easy. That’s why I think the tour was worth the cost.

We had an amazing day touring Pena Palace, Cascais and Lisboa! Our guide was phenomenal! He was patient with the kids and seniors in our group and incredibly knowledgeable about everything. Would highly recommend for a small group!

Our half day tour was excellent! Nuno was kind, knowledgeable, and flexible. We made a couple stops en route to Sintra and then had a lovely visit at the Pena Palace, with the ability to skip lines being quite a privilege. Overall, it is everything we hoped it would be. Thank you, Nuno!
