Yanesen si estende su due rioni; Bunkyoku e Taitoku, ed è il nome generico delle tre vecchie vie dello shopping; Yanaka, Nezu e Sendagi, di questa zona. In questo tour, assaggeremo i soliti pasti giapponesi come le crocchette, che sono molto popolari tra la gente del posto. Potrai anche goderti la cultura alimentare giapponese in un'area. Yuuyake Dandan: Sono le scale tra Gotenzaka e Yanaka Ginza. La sera, da questa scalinata, puoi vedere un bellissimo tramonto in direzione di Yanaka Ginza.
Negozio di francobolli malvagi Shinimonogurui: Questo è un negozio dove puoi realizzare timbri con nomi con illustrazioni carine, con un grande cartello con un gatto. Perché non realizzare un francobollo originale per commemorare la tua visita a Yanaka, la città dei gatti?
Yanaka Shippoya: prova un bastoncino di ciambella, che assomigli alla forma e al disegno della coda di un gatto. I nostri preferiti sono quelli cremosi!
Kanekichien: Puoi acquistare le attrezzature utilizzate nelle cerimonie del tè giapponesi in questo delizioso negozio.
Niku no Suzuki: il loro menchi-katsu appena fritto è oltre delizioso!
Waguriya: è l'unico negozio in Giappone specializzato in castagne giapponesi e possiede una propria fattoria, ed è famoso per i suoi dolci che sfruttano al meglio il sapore e il gusto naturali delle castagne giapponesi.

Hand Puppets Shokichi: goditi questo spettacolo di marionette incredibilmente espressivo di burattinai professionisti!
Strada dei serpenti: Dietro Yanaka Ginza, c'è un vicolo che curva come un serpente. Fai una passeggiata lungo i vicoli che un tempo erano piccoli fiumi.
Santuario di Nezu: visita questo santuario, noto anche come "punto di potere", proprio nel centro di Nezu, e cammina attraverso la magnifica porta della torre e il tunnel di porte torii rosse.
Annesso al Museo Shitamachi (Old Yoshidaya Sakayaten): Il vecchio Yoshidaya Sakayaten, una sala espositiva annessa al Museo popolare di Shitamachi, fu costruito nel 1910 (Meiji 43) ed era un vero e proprio negozio di liquori che operò fino al 1986 (1986). I visitatori possono sentirsi come se fossero tornati indietro nel tempo all'era Meiji.
Cimitero di Yanaka: Numerosi personaggi famosi sono sepolti in queste tombe. Ci sono tombe di generali che un tempo governavano il Giappone, giganti letterari e altri, così come le tombe della gente comune. I visitatori potranno avere uno spaccato della cultura giapponese.

Fantastic tour of Old town Tokyo, the Yanaka district! Miki-san was an amazing tour guide who gave lots of good recommendations for food to try and souvenirs to buy! He was patient, knowledgeable, and friendly, and he was a fun companion for the afternoon. Highly recommend this tour for everyone!
We spent a lovely afternoon exploring old town Yanaka with Kaori our guide .Had lunch in a soba restaurant and coffee in the garden of a local cafe.Kaori was a knowledgeable and friendly guide and answered all our questions about Japanese customs, food ,history and architecture and pointed out many things of interest .Our last stop was Nesu shrine to see the temple and azaleas - during the azaleas festival - which were spectacular.If you like a relaxed stroll round a charming old town district - this is the tour for you.
It was a nice historical walk in Yanaka, loads of knowledge and loads of hidden spots for pictures. Our guide Sam, was a really energetic and fun guide!

Hina was lovely and showed us the Tokio suburbs with it's lovely shops, restaurants and shrines. We really got a feeling of the "normal life" near the busy Tokyo city center. Kiyoshi was a wonderful guide - very engaged and knowledgeable. The Yanaka shops were delightful and we enjoyed the various food bites and the plum sake with soda! The puppet show was surprisingly entertaining and funny. After days of tours, the family was too tired to make the temple at the end but Kiyoshi was very gracious about us ending early. More cultural than food tour. The textile street outside the Nippori station was something we would never have found on our own if not for arriving early for the tour and exploring a bit.
