Spot 1 — Partenza da Valona Hotel Bologna → Isola di Sazan | 20 minuti Incontra la tua Guida al porto turistico vicino all'Hotel Bologna a Valona e sali a bordo della nostra barca per un giro panoramico verso l'isola di Sazan. Mentre lasciamo la baia, goditi la vista della penisola di Karaburun, del mare aperto e dei colori cangianti del Parco Marino. Spot 2 — Sazan Island Costa occidentale e Gola del Diavolo Esplorazione costiera + snorkeling | 1 ora Iniziamo ad esplorare il selvaggio lato occidentale dell'isola di Sazan, navigando vicino alla costa ed entrando in drammatiche gole, grotte marine e formazioni rocciose nascoste. Questa sezione include la Grotta del Tesoro di Haxhi Aliu, situata sulla costa occidentale dell'isola di Sazan. Questo è diverso dalla famosa grotta Haxhi Aliu a Karaburun. Ci fermiamo poi per fare snorkeling a Hell’s Gorge, una delle zone più panoramiche e incontaminate dell’isola. Spot 3 — Sbarco sull’isola di Sazan Esplorazione libera o tempo in spiaggia | 1 ora Sbarchiamo sull'isola di Sazan, dove hai un'ora intera per scegliere la tua esperienza. Puoi seguire il Ghost Town Trail ed esplorare bunker, edifici abbandonati, sentieri forestali e tracce del passato militare dell'isola. Oppure, se preferisci rilassarti, puoi soggiornare vicino a Saint Nicholas Bay per nuotare, fare snorkeling o trascorrere del tempo in spiaggia. Spot 4 — Grotta di Haxhi Aliu, penisola di Karaburun Traversata + visita alle grotte | 30 minuti Dopo l'isola di Sazan, attraversiamo lo stretto di Mezokanal verso la penisola di Karaburun. La traversata dura circa 15 minuti. Visiteremo poi la famosa Grotta Haxhi Aliu, uno dei punti di riferimento più iconici della Riviera Albanese. Entriamo nella grotta in barca e trascorriamo circa 15 minuti all'interno, dandoti il tempo di ammirare l'enorme grotta marina, i riflessi blu e le formazioni rocciose naturali. Spot 5 — Costa di Karaburun e Baia di San Giorgio Escursione costiera + spiaggia/snorkeling | 45 minuti Dopo aver visitato la grotta di Haxhi Aliu, proseguiamo lungo la costa di Karaburun. Navighiamo vicino alle scogliere per circa 15 minuti prima di arrivare a Saint George’s Bay, dove ci fermiamo per circa 30 minuti. Qui potrete nuotare, fare snorkeling, rilassarvi sulla spiaggia e godervi l'acqua cristallina di questa tranquilla baia. Spot 6 — Ritorno a Valona Penisola di Karaburun → Hotel Bologna | 20 minuti Dopo la sosta finale sulla spiaggia, torniamo a Valona in barca. Questo completa l'esperienza completa di Sazan a 360°, coprendo quasi 30 miglia nautiche intorno al Parco Marino di Karaburun–Sazan. The experience was very touring, we enjoy nature, diving in a spectacular place. We would have liked to have more information and historical curiosities during the trip.

We booked the Sazan 360 Tour mainly because of the snorkeling and the announced exploration of Sazan Island. Unfortunately, the actual experience did not match the description. We went first to a beach on the Karaburun peninsula, then to the Haxhi Ali cave and then to a snorkel spot where we only stayed for about 25 minutes. There was little marine life to see; we had to look hard to find a few small fish. This was very disappointing, especially as snorkeling was presented as an important part of the tour. Finally, we were dropped off on Sazan Island, without any explanation or guidance. The guide was not very friendly and hardly told anything about the locations or history during the day. Because several parts of the announced program have not been performed, we wonder whether we have received the right tour. The setting was beautiful but the experience did not meet our expectations.

We would like to clarify that the itinerary completed was the Sazan 360 Experience as advertised. Depending on the sea conditions, the captain may navigate the route in the safest direction, but all the planned highlights are still visited. Our snorkeling stop lasts approximately 30 minutes and takes place on the spectacular western coast of Sazan Island, one of the most pristine snorkeling locations in the area. As with any natural marine environment, the amount of visible marine life can vary from day to day, and unfortunately this is something no operator can guarantee. During the tour, our guide explains the history of Haxhi Ali Cave, the geology of the area, the military history of Sazan Island, and provides information throughout the journey. We are therefore surprised to read that you felt there was little explanation, as this is an important part of every departure. We appreciate your comments and will continue working to improve our guests’ experience. We are pleased that you enjoyed the beautiful scenery, and we wish you all the best on your future travels.
Take your swimming costume and water shoes. Lots of chances to swim and snorkel. A lovely trip and a perfect way to spend a morning in vlore.

After waiting for more than half an hour for other people to arrive who never showed up, and trying to get our tour day changed, we left to make fewer stops than those indicated in the description. We only visited the island with a very quick swim at the beach and then visited the pirate cave on the coast of Karaburun. So, we skipped some stops. The skipper was very kind and helpful, however, and gave us a great experience.

Places we went to were great, sazan island was gorgeous and cool to see. Boat was good, group was not big so that was wonderful. I did miss some interaction and stories from the captain; he was friendly but I expected (from earlier reviews) that we would be told some fun facts. Captain did not introduce themselves or tried to connect with the group. He did let us know where we were (at the caves for example) but I overheard other boats telling stories to their passengers about the places we were. I would have loved to have the same experience, but maybe that was my own expectation I based on the earlier reviews. Also the music was the same song the entire time.

Very good experience. The guide was very nice and friendly. He took us to a beach where there were a lot of people and we asked him to go to another place, he changed the route without any problems.

Nice boat trip but took much shorter than indicated on the website. The trip was frayed and no drinks were given either. Very poor value for money.

That afternoon the group was smaller than usual, so we arranged a smaller boat in order to operate the tour instead of cancelling it due to the minimum number of participants. However, we understand that the tour felt shorter than expected and that the drinks were not offered properly during the experience. This should have been handled better. As soon as you contacted us, we immediately accepted your request and refunded the amount you asked for as a gesture of apology. The boat is uncomfortable we had to go always in the area that seems very turns to go lying but it is not possible neither oil space nor for the trip. So we had to go narrowed back to the side of the boat to hit the area where the ropes, very uncomfortable. I had to order a life-saving vest for my son because nobody was wearing a vest but I find it very insecure. They immediately handed me the vest but of a very low quality and uncomfortable, clung with a few stitches. The guide does not explain anything about the places visited or what he was going to do. The first stop left us in a stone beach area and shook with the boat to the most remote part without explaining, we went swimming to the boat because it was not pleasant to be anything in that place. Then we can dive from the boat. There is nothing to eat either on the boat or at any stop, they are all locally without any infrastructure which did not make any idea because the tour ends at 15:30 and we are not given any information. The not beautiful areas visited the island Sazan was disappointing, seems the island on which was recorded the Jurassic Park 2 with immense structures destroyed and abandoned.
We are sorry that this experience did not match your expectations, but several points in this review are misleading. Food was never included in the tour, and this is clearly stated in the booking details. Life jackets were available and one was provided immediately when requested. The tour also included explanations from our licensed guide during the shared stops. Sazan Island is a former military island. Its abandoned buildings, bunkers and historical ruins are not a defect, but an important part of Albania’s history. Comparing it mockingly to “Jurassic Park” is disrespectful to the place, its history and the country you chose to visit. A wild marine park is not a resort with restaurants and infrastructure. Guests should read the tour description before booking and judge the experience according to what was actually advertised.
I don't think I've ever returned from such an excursion with so many delighted customers. On the way back to Vlore everyone on the boat was smiling and admiring the sea. It was a magnificent day.
