Hagia Sophia; Significa saggezza divina, Hagia Sophia era il più grande edificio sulla terra ad eccezione delle piramidi egizie o della Grande Muraglia cinese. L'odierna Hagia Sophia fu costruita dall'imperatore Giustiniano nel 537 d.C. Era il centro religioso della città durante il periodo bizantino. Fu utilizzato come chiesa per 916 anni e come moschea per 481 anni. Nel 1934, per ordine di Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, fu trasformato in un museo e da allora è stato aperto ai visitatori.
Palazzo Topkapi; Oltre ad essere la residenza imperiale del Sultano, il palazzo era anche la sede del governo dell'impero ottomano. Ha ospitato i sultani ottomani per quasi 400 anni fino alla costruzione del palazzo Dolmabahçe. Nel 1924 fu trasformato in museo. Oggi è famoso per le sezioni di harem, tesoro reale e reliquie sacre
Costruito dal sultano ottomano Ahmet I nell'anno 1616, si trova di fronte alla Basilica di Santa Sofia. La moschea blu oggi è uno dei monumenti più famosi della città vecchia con i suoi famosi sei minareti e la magnifica cupola. Sebbene sia ufficialmente chiamata Moschea di Sultanahmet, il nome (nıck) Moschea Blu le è stato dato dai visitatori a causa delle incredibili piastrelle blu che decorano le pareti interne.
Con 18 ingressi e più di 4000 negozi, è uno dei più grandi bazar del mondo. Fu costruito tra il 1455-1461 dal sultano Mehmet il Conquistatore. Oggi, i negozi che vendono lo stesso tipo di merce tendono ad essere riuniti nelle loro strade o locande come era il sistema ottomano originale.
Costruito dall'imperatore romano Settimio Severo nel 203 d.C., durante il periodo romano l'ippodromo era il centro civile per la gente della città dove un tempo si potevano ospitare 100.000 spettatori. Situato nel cuore di Sultanahmet, circondato dalla Moschea Blu, Hagia Sophia e il palazzo Topkapi, oggi ospita l'obelisco egizio (Dikilitaş), la colonna serpentina (Burma sütun), la colonna di Costantino e la fontana tedesca.

Ali was fascinating!!! He has so much knowledge and the tour was tailored to our specific requests. Could not have been happier and can give a 110% recommendation.
I found it to be a comprehensive introductory tour of historical Istanbul. We were able to skip the line on the sights. Was very delighted with the history lesson from our guide, Barish. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant.
Should not have booked this trip during Eid. It was extremely crowded & did not get the full tour experience Grand Bazaar (part of the tour) was closed. Lunch was not included even though it says it was in the tour. So you pay for your lunch. Felt rushed & didn’t see everything at the Topkapi Palace as it was so crowded Guide left to take some of the people back to the bus & left a few of us to continue the tour on our own at the Topkapi Palace (last part of the tour)
I recommend this Enterprise, we really enjoyed the visit to these beautiful places together with our guide and driver Riza and Okan, very friendly, explained every detail of the ancient city.

Excellent and very well organised tour from the start to the finish. The guides were excellent and provided great commentary on the history of the area. The guides also gave us the choice to go to some shops along the way, which we did out of interest, but no pushy sales pitch, or pressure to go. However, I was glad we did go as the information we were given was very helpful for shopping throughout Turkey even if you didn't buy anything at their shop. The accommodation and van we travelled in was comfortable.

Very happy with our tour guide Riza and driver Burak. The tour was informative and beautiful. We had a nice lunch buffet as well. All facilities taken were very clean and adequate toilet breaks. Highly recommended for this tour. Pamukale is a must see destination. From Stewart and Lisa

We haven't had such a good tour in a long time! We were guided as well as if we had gone through history again for the first time, just fabulous the tour guide! Was lucky enough to discover the grandiosity of Ephesus with our tour guide, Gonca! Let me just say this, if you're planning to go to Ephesus do try and get a tour with her! Gonca will make your tour memorable in so many ways. She knows how to guide you around the city almost as if she is from that era. We have joined the Kusadasi tour Company for 2 days to Pamukkale & Ephesus with our driver (Mr Hakan) and 2 tour guides (Mr Riza & Mrs Gonza). We had a really wonderful trip, where we were brought to a really nice place with amazing views and price are reasonable. The tour guides are friendly and speaks good english. The driver takes care of us vey well.
