Questo tour ti permette di vedere la "vera" Repubblica Dominicana, al di fuori dei resort. Tour a bordo di un camion safari guidati da guida turistica, autista e barista. Prelievo e rientro presso il tuo hotel o alloggio. Trasporto con Truck Safari quindi visita ad un tipico negozio di souvenir e dimostrazione di sigari fatti a mano, avrete una vista panoramica della scuola, poi visiteremo la città di Higüey con vista panoramica della Basilica. Cammina all'interno del mercato locale di Higüey. Visita le montagne Higüey e arriva al ranch per pranzare con cibo dominicano a buffet. Passeggiata sul fiume. Visiterai una tipica casa dominicana dove potrai vedere il processo di caffè, cacao e frutta, con degustazione inclusa. Cavalcata. Visitiamo la spiaggia di Macao dove avrai l'opportunità di nuotare. Bevande durante l'escursione. (Acqua/Rum/Succo)

Playa Macao è una spiaggia situata nella parte settentrionale di Bávaro, nella regione orientale della Repubblica Dominicana. La spiaggia di Macao è caratterizzata da sabbia bianca e palme nei suoi dintorni. È la cattedrale della diocesi di Nuestra Señora de la Altagracia a Higüey e uno dei santuari più frequentati dei Caraibi.
Iniziamo dal negozio di souvenir tipici dominicani dove puoi acquistare regali per la tua famiglia. Successivamente assisteremo alla dimostrazione della lavorazione dei sigari fatti a mano. A seguire la visita alla Casa Tipica dove potrete vedere la cultura dominicana dalla prospettiva più umile che possiamo essere.

This is a very nice excursion. Darwin was our tour guide and he was very attentive and knowledgeable about the culture. It was a comfortable van with air conditioning a plus.
Our driver Sandi and our guide Frank were fantastic. They were kind, courteous, and professional from start to finish. It was awesome getting to see outside of the resorts during our trip. The group is small enough to feel intimate but not overcrowded. Would definitely recommend again!
First time here so we decided to take the tour to get into the island, its customs and flavors, super recommended!
Our guide Alex and driver Samuel were GREAT. I rate this one as average because of the following: the horseback riding experience was awful and the conditions of the riding area were ABYSMAL and the smell was wretched. Aside from the fact that the horses were not listed as a part of the experience which is why we chose it, I know why we passed on it. This should be removed as a spot. The second reason is because we stopped at a “candy” store which was nothing more than a gift shop with people trying to sell us stuff. Now, I have no issue with supporting the local economy but given that each stop already has souvenir stands as a part of it, there is absolutely no need for there to be another stop for just souvenirs. Third and final reason was that lunch was at the end of the tour which is not a big problem and one that can be easily fixed with listing that in the description so that folks know OR, add 5-10 dollars to the cost and then have snacks available throughout the tour because with a 725 pickup and lunch at 1…that’s not a good thing. Like I said, Alex and Samuel were not the issue but the overall structure of the tour leaves much to be desired. BTW, lunch was very good! Dont take this tour until it’s changed.
It was a great experience going to the beach and horseback riding is very fun. The food is very good and the guide is very friendly.
The drinks during the tour were a nice touch. Water, rum and juice were always available and were very refreshing. A very good quality service, it was a magnificent experience!!
The bus tour allowed us to explore the beautiful city of Higüey The visit to the Basilica was a highlight, and the local market was a true immersion in Dominican culture
