Il Kaudulla National Park Safari permette di vedere la fauna selvatica dello Sri Lanka nei loro habitat naturali. Viaggia lungo le rive del serbatoio di Kaudulla per vedere mandrie di elefanti che arrivano per l'acqua. Ascolta i richiami di strani uccelli tropicali mentre cerchi di identificarli. Prova a intravedere il cervo dell'asse albino che si dice sia unico in questo parco dello Sri Lanka. Molte avventure così eccitanti ti aspettano!

Il safari ti condurrà in un breve game drive attraverso le terre selvagge di Kaudulla. Il parco è noto per i suoi avvistamenti di elefanti, soprattutto verso la fine della stagione secca a settembre. Il serbatoio di Kaudulla ospita numerosi uccelli e altri animali selvatici, essendo la principale fonte di acqua dolce nell'area circostante. Viaggerai in un veicolo da gioco su terreno accidentato (4 ruote motrici). Istituito nel 2002, il Parco Nazionale Kaudulla forma il corridoio della giungla Kaudulla-Minneriya vicino a Trincomalee. Si estende su 6900 ettari di spazio e comprende molte foreste sempreverdi secche, terre di coltivazione abbandonate e zone di prati. Gli ecosistemi del parco ruotano principalmente attorno al serbatoio Kaudulla, uno degli antichi serbatoi d'acqua costruiti dal re Mahasena durante il III secolo d.C. Ora il parco ha circa 24 specie di mammiferi, 25 specie di rettili, 26 specie di pesci e oltre 160 specie di uccelli che abitano il santuario, oltre ad altri insetti e esseri viventi.

We really liked the safari, the driver was professional, we saw many elephants and other animals. I recommend this.
I really enjoyed the safari. Saw many elephants, crocodiles and pelicans and the guide was very informative and friendly. Nice to see the animals in their natural habitat. Thanks.

The reserve actually consists of 3 parks. Our driver's name was Pliant. He showed us eagles, monkeys, many colored birds and an elephant in the jungle washing. However, the herds of elephants did not ... Then we suddenly noticed a lonely male. Pliant was approaching 20 meters. In the distance we saw another male at the lake water buffalo, but not the hundreds of elephants that were mentioned. Pliant really went out of his way to spot elephants. We stood still with the jeep (alone) and then suddenly dozens of elephants appeared from the bushes. She stood 10 meters from our jeep and then walked further to the lake. This has been one of the most beautiful moments of my travels!!!! So beautiful with all those little ones. Meanwhile, a lot of jeeps had suddenly arrived. When we left the reserve, they were really queuing (traffic jam!!!) to enter the reserve. I wouldn't have liked that.
Great afternoon. Saw150 elephants close up. Driver was very good. Would recommend this as a great activity.

I am delighted to say that you offer one of the best service during my visit to Sri Lanka. The driver Sumit was good, our communication per WhatsApp was very quick and comfortable. Payment through the web per Pay pal was also very convenient. We liked safari very much and met more than 50 elephants + other animals and birds. We also did appreciate advice from the company to visit Kaudulla Park rather than Minneriya because there were more elephants on that specific day (even though Kaudulla was 10$ cheaper). The driver Sumit even called us in 2 hours after we said goodbye in Habarana and asked how did we get to the hotel. It was very nice !

Very much enjoyed our safari with Lakpura LLC! They gave us great advice as to which park to visit for the highest chances of seeing elephants - and we saw hundreds! Our driver was professional and on time, and we so loved bouncing around with the roof down on our safari vehicle. This is a must for anyone wanting to get close to wild elephants in Sri Lanka!
Although the gathering was already over, we called Lakpura to ask if it is still possible to see elephants. They gave us advice to what park to go and at what time. And indeed, we still saw 70 elephants! The driver was kind and picked us up from our hotel. He was a very good driver and had respect for the elephants by keeping a proper distance. He also had some interesting facts to tell about the elephants. I would definetely recomend their service. Thank you for the great experience.
