Il 2025 segna l'80° anniversario della Battaglia delle Ardenne, uno dei momenti più cruciali della Seconda guerra mondiale, con oltre 140.000 vite perse o cambiate per sempre. Il nostro viaggio inizia al cimitero americano di Neuville-en-Condroz, dove file di croci bianche rendono omaggio a migliaia di soldati americani che hanno compiuto il sacrificio estremo. Ci dirigiamo poi a Bastogne, una roccaforte chiave durante la battaglia, dove visiterai McAuliffe Square e vedrai un imponente carro armato M3 Sherman, simbolo della resilienza alleata. Successivamente, visiteremo il Mardasson Memorial, un monumento a forma di stella in onore dei soldati americani. Il vicino Bastogne War Museum (incluso) offre coinvolgenti esposizioni 3D e storie potenti. The guide was fantastic. Martin King was fantastic! Having a WW2 historian as your tour guide was incredible.
I got a chance to see many important historical places in the tour and the guide also explained everything well. The sites of Bastogne and Foy were particularly interesting. But it was a bit tiring to travel so many places in one day. It would be nice to have more time at some of the stops. Overall a good experience, but it was a bit too long for me.
A good historical review and exhaustive explanations that added to our comprehension and concourse of the battles
If we are only going to have limited time at the museums, they should just be skipped altogether for more sites to see with the guide's expertise.
Great expedience and would highly recommend for anyone interested in WW2. The tour guide was excellent, and very knowledgeable on the Battke of the Blunge plus WW2 in general. It is a long day so bring water and snacks. Bus ride is long but the tour guide made it go by quickly.

Our tour guide, Martin King, was the BEST tour guide we ever had! He is a military historian and he is so incredibly knowledgeable about World War II and The Battle of the Bulge. I learned so much from his stories and information that he willingly shared.about the things we saw and places we visited. It was a long day and it exceeded my expectations. His list of achievements are incredible. He is passionate and enthusiastic about history.
Martin is a fantastic tour guide (albeit he prefers the historian/author title), and a true expert of Bastogne. Highly recommend!
This was a super excellent tour. I don’t know how it could be better. Our guide is/was a teacher, he had hard copy handouts for us to go through. We experienced everything we were looking for.
Martin King was a gem of a tour guide for this full day experience. He knew so much and the ride on the bus felt like we were in a documentary narrated by him. He was such a pleasure to talk to at the different stops.
