Rafting in acque bianche La Fortuna, Canyoning

This was intense, but so rewarding! My gf fell into the river during a rapid, but we were able to pull her out with minor bruising. We made new friends, got some new bruises, learned some basic rafting, and got some really sick photos. Our guides were Mauro and Austin, and they were fantastic!

We thoroughly enjoyed it! The experience was super safe but also gave the scenic experience of a mountain side ATV ride. Wow. Felt like I was in a James Bond movie honestly. Loved it!

Rafting was amazing. The rafting company descents was very organized. Orlando our guide was amazing. He was hilarious but also felt safe and very informative of the area and the animals. Rappelling was also great. It was a bit scarier than expected but I'm afraid of heights. The guides provided lots of laughs.

This tour is amazing. Started the day being picked up at the hotel for the white-water rafting. I was a little nervous because the water was higher than usual but Ali & Orlando made the day great! We had a blast. Next we moved onto Canyoning and the Tarzan swing, again so much fun. First time for both activities the guys at Canopy San Lorinzo ( Lands In Love) made it very easy and fun. I would highly recommend this tour. Lots of adrenaline and lots of memories.

We went on a couples trip to lands in love and they had awesome activities for us to do! This was our favorite activity!! Absolutely so much fun we can’t wait to go back! It’s worth every penny!!!

Had a wonderful time. Our guide for the rafting was Jader, he was the best! Went out of his way to make sure we were safe and had fun. Helped us explore the wildlife (we saw sloths, an iguana, many birds and he even got us a blue jeans frog!) The vegan lunch at lands of love was excellent, the staff was very helping and welcoming! Once again, felt safe and had a wonderful time canyoning. The spot where we were supposed to do the Tarzan swing was broken, but no worries, they got us to another spot even if that wasn’t the initial plan. We had a blast!! Arenal rafting company picked us up in the morning and Lands of Love arranged the drop off at the end of the day. Everything ran perfectly. I advise you wear a GOOD sunscreen or dress with long dry fit clothes. The sun will be hard and you won’t have a chance to reapply sunscreen during the rafting (you will be able to do so between the rafting and the canyoning, but keep in mind that the rafting is about 2 hours, in the middle of the day). You WILL get wet! Bring shoes accordingly! We would do it again without thinking!!

All of it was so fun! White water rafting was about a level 3/4, Juan de Miguel was a fun guide and took us on the more adventurous rapids. Lunch was a vegan meal, Casado, and it was so delicious! Canyoning and Tarzan swing was with Alexander, he made the experience very fun and safe. He explained everything we were doing with great detail. I had no experience rappelling before and it was so fun! Easy enough to do with a short lesson. The Tarzan swing was absolutely terrifying but very enjoyable. Would highly recommend this tour again!

Would have been a 5 star but the zip lining didn’t have the best view. It was fun and fast but surrounded by trees so you couldn’t see much. The Tarzan swing was amazing, the white water rafting probably the best experience of it all. Definitely for beginners with an easy smooth ride at the end where we got to see sloths, monkeys, and lots of iguanas!

Rafting was really fun and we were immediately picked up after to go to the lands in love hotel which is also an animal shelter for lots and lots of cats and dogs. Their kitchen is amazing and our lunch might have been the best we've had in a long while. The canyoning here is more of the abseiling variety, less of the jumping and swimming in pools variety. The abseiling is really fun though. The Tarzan swing at the end has a nice view over the valley which is a good way to end a fun day. All in all great value and a really fun and adrenalin filled day.

Our group of 7 had an amazing time. Day started with pick up at our Airbnb. We were transported to Lands in Love hotel. This would serve as home base for the day. You are able to leave belongings there. I do suggest bringing cash with you on each excursion so you can tip. We started the day with canyoning. Guides were awesome. I always felt safe and we laughed a lot. We had a quick stop back at Lands of Love then off to rafting. We loved this part of the day. There was a brief stop on the river for snack of pineapple and watermelon. After rafting we went back to Lands of Love for lunch. Be aware this is vegan. Food was fine but just should be aware. Next was ziplining. We had lots of fun and had same guides as canyoning. Lots of laughs. We went back to hotel and changed into dry clothes for ride home. Long day but amazing.
