Privato Ketchikan Wild Alaskan Salmon Fishing Trip

My family and I went out on the boat with Aaron for Halibut and Salmon. He was incredibly knowledgeable and we were all really impressed by how quick he was able to get everything set up and running for us. We left our charter with a good haul, he was incredibly friendly, and we had an overall terrific experience.

Captain Aaron Ramirez is a real pro. I am a boat owner and fisherman and I hire charter fishing boats for private trips everywhere I go on vacation: Hawaii, Florida, US Gulf, Carribean, etc. and just this month in Ketchikan, Alaska with Capt. Aaron. He met my wife and I when we got off the ship holding a placard with our last name on it. We were just a few steps to the dock where his awesome, clean fishing boat was tied. He explained safety procedures and equipment and within minutes we were on our way. A 15-minute run later and we were dropping baits for halibut. We had our 2 keepers and a bonus cod, so we went trolling for salmon. Luck remained with us, and we caught several keepers. Captain Aaron returned us to the ship in plenty of time and took our fish to the processor for us. They arrived back in Texas on time and in perfect condition fileted, vacuum sealed and frozen. I highly recommend booking directly with Captain Aaron if you get the opportunity. First class all the way!

Captain Aaron put us on the spots to catch some massive ling cods! He asked what we wanted and he delivered perfectly. He gave us a split rock cod/salmon trip and we were able to hook into fish everywhere. Aaron knows what he is doing and is a consummate professional. If you’re looking for a genuine Alaskan fishing experience, you came to the right place. We’ll be booking again next time we come through.

If you are lucky enough to go fishing in Ketchikan, make sure to book your trip with Captain Aaron. He was knowledgeable, personable and really cared that we had a memorable and fun experience! We caught (and kept) five pink salmon! Also caught a few others that managed to get away, lol. We were novices, but Aaron was great and explained everything about salmon fishing. Captain Aaron's boat was comfortable, clean, and had all the gear needed to fish. We would highly recommend a charter with him and hope to someday come back to do it again! i have never caught so many fish in 1 day and we saw so much amazing wildlife and scenery. The guide was very funny and nice and helped a lot. Every spot we went to we caught something. I would definitely go again.
