Great tour guide, beautiful tour, wonderful day!

What a great day we had with Adam. This young man really enjoys his work and it shows. He has a plan, knows the history, and takes genuine care to plan and provide a great tour for everyone. My wife and I had originally planned a group trip.....you know, on a bus, etc. We were concerned we were not going to get enough time....at the falls, in particular. Adam dropped us at the top, allowed us to explore and wind our way to the bottom, where he picked us up to continue the trip. We both felt the tour was worth the extra money. Extra time was given, he took us to a lovely spot for a nice lunch, and even got us an ice-cream! Adam is HIGHLY recommended. We saw him 2 days later with other clients and he remembered our names! Great young man, great tour, wonderful day!

Fantastic tour!

Absolutely fantastic half day tour with Adam. We went in the morning and there was almost no one else at the waterfall. Skip the Basilica and go straight from the falls to beautiful Orleans island. We had so much fun tasting the cheese, chocolate and jam.

Really great private tour...

Really great private tour at your own pace, which is great with little kids. The Ile d’Orleans and Montmorency Falls were the highlight for us. Adam and Abdel were really nice and Abdel took really good care of us all.

Our private tour to Ile d’Orleans

Great experience. The pickup was right on time at our hotel. We did quite alot on this private tour. We spent a good amount of time at the Montmorency Falls and had an option of taking the cable car or walking down 400+ steps. We did the stairs and it was really not very difficult. We next went to the Copper exhibit/museum where we saw a 5 minute demonstration on how the artisans create copper etching which are so prominently displayed at our next stop, the Basillica. We were on at the copper museum/store for 15 mins which was perfect. The Basillica was truely impressive and worth a brief visit. The copper doors are amazing. Next on to L’ile d’Orleans where we circled much of the island. We did 4 stops (per our preferences) and went to the chocolatier followed to the fresh fruit farm where they had beautiful berries. We enjoyed tasting some of the strawberries. Next we went on to a jam factory with tastings and ended up buying 2 jars. Finally we stopped at the fromagerie and bought some delecious cheese. It was then back to the hotel. Our original scheduled driver was called away prior to the tour but was replaced by Abdel who was kind, pleasant and knowlegable. He helped us take all the photos we wanted. He knew where to get the best angles. Overall a great day.

Great all around.

Adam was amazing. Incredibly accommodating, knowledgeable, and kind. Couldn’t have asked for a better guide. The tour was organized and timed perfectly. My only constructive criticism is to provide more information about the tour at the time of booking. Because of our lack of familiarity with the island of Orleans, we were not expecting (but were very pleasantly surprised) to visit wineries and fromageries and an ice cream/chocolate shop.

Wonderful half day in the Quebec City countryside.

After pickup from our hotel, we spent half the day with our guide Adam. He tailored every part of the trip to our interests, including taking us to a good coffee house to pick up morning refreshments. He timed our visit to the falls so that it was not crowed and we enjoyed the view from the cable car that traverses the hillside. An unexpected part of the trip was a visit to a local fruit stand where Adam treated us to a variety of wonderful local produce. Another treat was a visit to a jam factory for more tasting and a chocolate/ice cream shop. We appreciated seeing Quebec’s countryside.

Wonderful day of fun!

This was a great tour with Adam. He took us to a variety of interesting sites and kept just the right pace for us. We were really taken with the cathedral. After seeing many churches throughout Europe, this was an incredible site full of surprises. Next we stopped at the copper museum and had a demonstration of etching in copper, that was very interesting. The museum was beautiful and the artifacts were one of a kind. We stopped at Montmorency Falls next and they did not disappoint! Finally we went over to Ile D’Orleans and Adam took us to a variety of great little local spots: a fabulous cheese place that was a fun location and every cheese we had was amazing! A winery, a delicious jam factory where we left weighed down by delicious preserves and last but certainly not least a chocolate & ice cream shop that was busy and for very good reason! Adam was patient, kind, and very hospitable and made this day a very special part of our family Quebec City holiday!

Great Sites & Tasty Treats

We had a lovely day with Adam on this private tour. Montmorency Falls and the Ste. Anne cathedral were the highlights. We had plenty of time to experience each stop and take pictures. Adam volunteered to take pictures whenever we wanted. We were picked up/dropped off at our hotel and the vehicle was very comfortable. On the Île d’Orleans, I bought jam and chocolate. Adam bought us berries at a farm stop: raspberries and camerises (new to me)! He offered the island’s famous ice cream but we had to save appetites for our dinner reservation. Adam was very friendly and helpful. He shared recommendations about places to visit and restaurants. It was a memorable day.
