Itinerario
Il tour inizia con il prelievo dall'hotel/porto da parte del nostro autista locale fino al molo.
Viaggia in barca attraverso le curve e le svolte del fiume Kilim attraverso il labirinto creato dalle radici aeree e dalle spesse foglie carnose degli alberi di mangrovie. Spesso vediamo animali di mangrovie che hanno la loro casa in questo ecosistema delicatamente equilibrato che è responsabile della salute e della grande varietà di specie nel Mare delle Andamane. Esploriamo anche come l'area di mangrovie sia un ambiente perfetto per le industrie artigianali come gli allevamenti ittici. La nostra prima tappa è Il barcaiolo fermerà il motore e getterà alcuni pezzi di pollo in acqua per invitare le aquile. E in pochissimo tempo vedrai le aquile tuffarsi proprio accanto a te e artigliare i pezzi di pollo e mangiarli mentre si librano nel cielo. Mentre ci avventuriamo fuori dalle mangrovie vedrai maestose formazioni rocciose calcaree e faraglioni che si ergono drammaticamente dall'oceano. Questa antica spinta corallina verso il cielo milioni di anni fa ospita un gruppo unico e antico di piante che non si trovano in nessun altro posto sulla terra
Poi esploreremo le buie grotte dei pipistrelli e saremo immersi in favolosi racconti di misteri e romanticismo.
Visitare l'allevamento ittico moderno galleggiante e l'allevamento ittico locale è uno dei tour. La nostra barca ti lascerà all'allevamento ittico galleggiante in una baia isolata circondata da alte scogliere verticali di calcare e granito. Avrai tutto il tempo per vedere le razze. Ci sono anche un certo numero di creature marine tenute nelle "vasche", ma non riveleremo troppo: ne vale la pena. Dopo mezza giornata con una nuova esperienza, la barca ti farà ritorno al molo e l'autista ti riaccompagnerà al tuo hotel/porto di partenza

Doing the Private Mangroves Tour in Langkawi is a must. The boat is to yourself, you have un obstructed view of each point, from the Eagle feeding to the Monkeys (there was so many) it's a very personal experience that is well worth the extra cost. The Fish farm was so unique, the local resident of the farm showed us an array of species and we had the pleasure to even pat the friendly string rays and sharks and then choose our fish which they prepared and so we can. Nothing quire beats having such a delicious fresh meal in the middle of the sea. This was my favourite trip in Langkawi and is a must for anyone to do...
A fabulous experience. We were picked up from the port at the agreed time, driven by the informative and friendly Eddy to the boats. Harry was a great boatman with amazing eyes for spotting wildlife. All in all a great day.
The private tour was worth it. Having the guide for ourselves made a great difference from needing to cope with a group.
Unfortunately I was silly and thought the price I was quoted was local currency, so I thought I was getting a bargain. After booking I realized the price was in Singaporean dollars, and about 4 times the price I thought I was paying. My fault for not checking, but felt misleading for website to show prices in a different currency. The company were not able to refund me as I booked 21 hours before the trip and they don't allow refunds within 24 hours of the trip - even though I tried to cancel immediately after booking. We just had to go with it even though I could have booked for half the price through the hotel. This was a bad start to the trip, but.... on the plus side the landscape was beautiful and the boat was fun. Overall we enjoyed it, but a few things were not as described and ultimately we felt ripped off. We were sold a premium lunch. What we got was a plastic bag with a tiny piece of fish and rice and a bag full of soup or sauce. There was no food or drinks provided for our 3 year old even though we had paid for him. We were rushed through the trip and told we could eat the lunch at the end on the beach. The beach was beautiful so this would have been nice, but when we were dropped at the beach we had no plates or spoons to eat the food. I guess we were supposed to drink the soup from the bag. Not what I expected after spending $400usd for just 2 adults and a young child. For half the price I would have been fine with this. We also had to pack up the lunch (we actually threw it away) because we were told the trip had ended and our driver had another job so could not wait for us to even eat the food. The trip states 3.5 hours but according to the driver the trip was only 2 hours. Also, just a small thing, but the itinerary said they feed the eagles so you can see them up close. This did not happen, apparently there are restrictions on this now. Which I understand, but the trip description should be updated. Ultimately, this felt like a basic experience at a premium price point. I recommend you book directly through your hotel or even ask a local driver to organise this trip for you to ensure you get your money's worth.... And skip the lunch option.
The whole experience was very smooth. My Driver Bakhtiar picked me from my hotel on time. My boat guide Hanif was very friendly and knowledgeable, kept me engaged the whole time. He also took amazing pictures of me. The whole experience 10/10 would recommend.
Had a really good time seeing the wonderful rainforest islands of Langkawi, definitely a worthy experience to get on a boat and see the nature, included a good guide and a lunch too.
