Sevan Lake, il fascino e la perla della montagna armena, che è uno dei più grandi laghi d'acqua dolce ad alta quota del mondo. Si trova a circa 1900 m sul livello del mare. Il lago è di origine vulcanica ed è circondato da montagne di 3000 me higer. Lo splendido paesaggio e l'acqua cristallina servono precisi presupposti per un riposo eccellente.
Goshavank è stata fondata dal famoso scienziato medievale, il fabulista Mkhitar Gosh. Il complesso è costituito da diversi edifici religiosi e secolari. Il khachkar senza eguali messo di fronte alla basilica a una sola navata fu creato dall'abile maestro Poghos nel 1291. Goshavank era uno dei centri religiosi e culturali più famosi dell'Armenia medievale.
Il monastero di Haghartsin situato nei boschi della regione di Tavush rappresenta un esempio indescrivibile di fusione di natura e architettura. Fu fondata nel XI-XI secolo, ma furono aggiunti nuovi edifici nel XII-XIII secolo. Ora è composto da San Grigor, Santa Astvatsatsin (Santa Madre di Dio), chiese di Santo Stefano e altri edifici. Il refettorio per la sua abile composizione architettonica è di grande interesse. L'enorme quercia, che è quasi all'età del monastero, completa l'intera scena.
Una scena meravigliosa si apre nella parte nord-occidentale del Lago Sevan, dove la penisola domina la superficie trasparente del lago. Il monastero di Sevanavank fu costruito sulla penisola nell'874 per ordine della principessa Mariam, figlia del re Ashot Bagratuni. La sagoma delle chiese sullo sfondo del lago turchese e del cielo blu genera un'impressione inspiegabile sui visitatori.

What a wonderful day with Jasmine and Ashot! I booked this tour for my husband and I and it was incredible. Highly recommend Ashot, as he is a reliable, calm driver. He was so kind and his vehicle was incredibly clean. We also highly recommend Jasmine. She is so smart, funny and knows how to perfectly schedule your day for a great time. She patiently and knowledgeably explained every detail and even gave us time to spend in these holy areas for ourselves. I wish I could have more and more weeks to spend and enjoy with them.

Private tour for 7 days : we decided on the program and agency fine tuned it. Wonderful time. Khachatur is an experienced easy going very knowledgeable and helpful guide. Alexander was a very safe and thoughtfull driver. Everyrhing was well organized. Time goes by great with many interesting explanations, water on demand, comfortable and clean vehicles. We highly recommend for an unforgettable experience in Armenia.

Our day began with a visit to Sevanavank Monastery, followed by an unforgettable swim in the crystal-clear waters of Lake Sevan. It was such a unique and special experience, and we felt incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to enjoy it. After a delicious lakeside lunch, we continued our journey to Haghartsin and Goshavank Monasteries, both of which were truly beautiful and inspiring. Throughout the trip, our driver made us feel completely safe and comfortable on the road. We also enjoyed a lovely stop in Dilijan, where we experienced its charming historic atmosphere and stunning natural scenery. Although the day started sunny, the weather turned rainy later on, especially at the higher elevations. We were pleasantly surprised that our driver provided separate umbrellas for both my husband and me—a thoughtful touch that showed great attention to detail. Throughout the journey, complimentary cold bottled water was always available, making the trip even more comfortable. The entire tour became one of the most memorable days of our trip to Armenia. A heartfelt thank you to Hyur Service and especially to our driver, Baron Arakil. He did far more than drive us from place to place—he enriched the journey with fascinating stories about Armenian history, culture, music, and even films. His knowledge, kindness, and passion made this experience truly exceptional. Highly recommended!

We did a two-day tour of northern Armenia with Hyur Tours and it was a amazing experience. Our driver, Hrach, handled the long mountain roads with no drama and was easy company throughout. The car's air-conditioning was a real plus in the heat, and he also brought umbrellas along, which we were grateful for when heavy rain rolled in around Dilijan and the monastery there. Tamara, our guide, clearly knew the region: she gave good background at Lake Sevan and the monasteries and was always open to questions rather than sticking to a script. Very knowledgeable. The general pace stayed relaxed and they were happy to linger wherever we wanted. Nothing over-the-top, just well organized and genuinely enjoyable. Recommended if you want to see this part of the country with people who know it well.
