In base all'orario di prelievo ci coordineremo con l'arrivo della tua nave, incontrerai la tua guida al porto crociere di Kusadasi per iniziare il tuo viaggio fino alla prima tappa dell'itinerario.
La Casa della Vergine Maria, situata 6 km a nord delle rovine di Efeso, si ritiene sia il luogo in cui Maria trascorse i suoi ultimi giorni. Una chiesa fu costruita qui nel VI secolo d.C. sulle fondamenta di una casa del I secolo, ed è stata riconosciuta dalla Chiesa come la sua ultima residenza.
Il Tempio di Artemide, una delle sette meraviglie del mondo antico, era rinomato per la sua grandezza e il suo significato sacro. Dedicato alla dea Artemide, il tempio fece di Efeso un importante centro di pellegrinaggio nell'antichità. Presentava 127 colonne ioniche, ognuna alta 19 metri. Sorprendentemente, il tempio funzionò anche come una delle prime banche conosciute nel mondo antico.
Visita un villaggio tradizionale di tessitura di tappeti per scoprire l'arte dei tappeti turchi fatti a mano, osservare gli artigiani locali al lavoro e conoscere tecniche di tessitura secolari e tinture naturali. La città antica di Efeso è un tesoro archeologico e la città classica meglio conservata del Mediterraneo orientale. Nel I secolo d.C. era la seconda città più grande del mondo dopo Roma, con una popolazione superiore ai 250.000 abitanti. Situata strategicamente nel cuore del mondo antico, Efeso fungeva da importante porta d'accesso tra Oriente e Occidente, grazie al suo vasto porto e ai fiorenti commerci. Più che un semplice centro commerciale, Efeso era anche intrisa di romanticismo: era famosa per essere stata la destinazione della luna di miele di Marco Antonio e Cleopatra. La città ospita una delle Sette Meraviglie del Mondo Antico: il magnifico Tempio di Artemide. Oggi, Efeso rimane così ben conservato che una passeggiata per le sue antiche strade sembra un passo indietro nel tempo. I visitatori possono ammirare grandi monumenti come la Biblioteca di Celso, la terza biblioteca più grande del mondo antico, e il Grande Teatro, il più grande teatro romano in Asia Minore. The tour of the main historical sites was conducted in a spacious, air-conditioned vehicle. Berkay, our guide, was generous in his explanations, providing context about the history and influence of the civilizations that have succeeded one another in the region.

Enjoyed visiting Ancient Ephesus and the House of Saint Mary. Had a great lunch at a rug factory although our visit there was a bit too long.

We started off a bit late since we booked the small tour group we had to wait for two guest coz they cannot follow instructions. Not the tour companies fault coz they gave us clear instructions where to find them. So regarding the tour itself. All i can say is for the price that we paid it was a very high quality tour. Out tour guide Yelis she was very Knowledgeable, Super nice and very considerate since we have a 11 month old baby with us. She always made sure that we are comfortable like being in the shade when she is explaining the area. And letting us know where the baby can feel more comfortable since it was really really hot that day. The food was amazing. It was a little taste of turkish food. Our bus had a little bit of a problem with air conditioning but they had a replacement bus right away so that was not a big trouble. All in all the tour was amazing and worth every penny spent. Thank you to our tour guide Yelis and put driver for doing an amazing Job!
