Was fantastic, Ahmed catered to what we wanted to do, especially on the hottest day. We saw so much and he was really kind and helpful.

We had an absolutely wonderful tour of Ephesus today with Omar, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better guide. We are a family of four visiting from the US, with two kids ages 5 and 15, so finding a guide who can keep everyone engaged is not always easy. Omar was absolutely fantastic with all of us. We’ve had five different tour guides during our trip, and without question, Omar was the best. His English is perfect, and his knowledge of Ephesus and its history is incredible. More importantly, he has a way of explaining things that makes the history interesting and easy to understand rather than just giving you a long list of dates and facts. What impressed us most was his personality and the way he connected with our kids. There’s obviously a huge difference between keeping a 5-year-old and a 15-year-old interested, but somehow Omar managed to do both! He was patient, funny, engaging, and knew exactly how to interact with each of them. Our kids felt completely comfortable with him, and that made the experience so much more enjoyable for us as parents as well. He also did a great job reading our family throughout the day — knowing when to explain more, when to keep moving, when the kids needed a break, and when to give us time to explore and take photos. Nothing ever felt rushed or overly structured. Omar is incredibly knowledgeable, but it’s his warmth, personality, and genuine enthusiasm that really set him apart. By the end of the tour, it honestly felt less like we had spent the day with a tour guide and more like we had explored Ephesus with a very knowledgeable local friend. After having five guides on this trip, we can confidently say Omar was our favorite. He made Ephesus one of the highlights of our trip, and we would recommend him without hesitation — especially to families traveling with kids of different ages. If you can request Omar, do it. He’s truly exceptional!

Ulas was excellent! He was extremely knowledgeable concerning historic events and places. He was friendly, considerate, and accommodating. One of our party had mobility issues and he took great care checking regularly to make sure all was well. He made sure the food provided was gluten free for one of our party. Ulas took great care to make sure our day was amazing. We had an authentic experience of this amazing country and would happily return to have Ulas as our tour guide again. We loved it. So much fun!

Ulas was incredible. The perfect balance between professional and personal. The whole day was smoothly planned with no hiccups. One of our group is celiac, and she was very well taken care of at lunch and a few snack moment. The tour was timed perfectly, outdoors in the cool of the morning, air conditioned experiences in the heat of the afternoon. Lastly, the price was a bargain. He went well above and beyond compared to other tour guides we have had on our mediteranian cruise. Could not recommend Ulas more highly. It was great.

Ulas was our guide for the day, and he was absolutely amazing! Not only was he extremely knowledgeable, informative and thorough, he was also very accommodating and lots of fun. Everywhere he took us was unique, with lots of family owned businesses and artisans workshops, where you could tell he had genuine connections with the families involved.
