La tua guida privata ti incontrerà al tuo hotel di Kusadasi o al porto di Kusadasi all'orario prestabilito. L'orario di ritiro verrà fornito durante la conferma della prenotazione.
Dopo il saluto, avremo un viaggio di 20 minuti nella zona di Efeso per visitare uno dei principali punti salienti della Turchia. Efeso, una delle 12 città della Lega ionica (un antico distretto greco sulla costa occidentale dell'Asia Minore) si trova vicino a Izmir. Come città portuale, era un importante punto di partenza per le rotte commerciali verso l'Asia Minore. Passeggia nella storia lungo strade di marmo fiancheggiate da meravigliosi edifici pubblici. Tra questi ci sono le Terme di Scolastica e la Biblioteca di Celso (fu costruita all'inizio del II secolo d.C. da Gaio Giulio Aquila per essere un memoriale a suo padre Gaio Giulio Celso Polemanus, proconsole della provincia dell'Asia). Il Tempio di Adriano e il Gran Teatro sono due degli edifici più imponenti di Efeso. Il Gran teatro fu costruito nel III secolo a.C. e fu successivamente ampliato a 24.000 spettatori dai Romani nel I secolo d.C.
Ora di pranzo: avremo un delizioso kebap turco e mezes con insalata con bevande analcoliche incluse.
Successivamente, ci dirigeremo alla nostra prossima tappa Mileto, un'antica città situata vicino all'attuale Akköy alla foce del fiume Buyuk Menderes (meandro). Mileto doveva la sua importanza alla sua posizione sulle rotte commerciali. Era una delle più grandi città dell'Anatolia con una popolazione compresa tra 80.000 e 100.000. Molto prospera, fondò molte colonie e fu la casa dei filosofi del 6 aC Anassimandro, Anassimene e Talete, l'urbanista Ippodamo e l'architetto di Hagia Sophia, Isidoro. Avendo una posizione di rilievo, Mileto divenne il porto più importante di questa zona ed era il membro più attivo delle dodici città della Confederazione ionica. Nel VII secolo a.C., i Lidi assediarono la città. La città fu poi controllata da persiani, romani e turchi selgiuchidi.
La nostra ultima visita dopo Mileto sarà Didyma. La parola Didyma significa "gemelli" ed è stata associata da alcuni come il luogo di incontro di Zeus e Leto per avere i loro gemelli Apollo e Artemide. Didyma era famoso come centro di profezia dedicato ad Apollo, che serviva a uno scopo simile a Delfi dell'Anatolia. Non era una città ma un santuario collegato a Mileto dai Milesi con una strada sacra di 19 km / 12 mi.
Dopo il tour ti riporteremo al centro della città o al porto di Kusadasi.

It was the best tour of our cruise. We previously visited Ephesus- it was also off the cruise. This time it was even better. Our guide Nejdet was a gentleman. We had a very bad experience in Bodrum previous day. He pledged to make Kusadasi visit a delight and he did deliver. We visited two new places - Priene and Miletus. Didyma was not yet open after renovations. The company contacted us in advance and offered this new itinerary. We agreed with not much enthusiasm, but it was wonderful experience. We got to the sites early in the morning and enjoyed walking without crowds. The sites are underrated. Then we headed to Ephesus and saw it with great pleasure in the new afternoon light. On the way Nej arranged a taste of quick Turkish appetizers for us as we were running late. The food and setting was very nice, we were treated as VIPs. Thank you Nej and company!

Worth every penny. Staying at the Pine Bay Hotel and booked this trip while still in UK, I contacted the tour company who accommodated us being picked up from there no problems. We had a mini bus to ourselves as a family of four. Yavuz was our guide, excellent and very knowledgable. Unfortunately Didyma was closed so we changed our schedule for Priene, Ephesus and as it was very hot we did the Ephesus Museum indoors. We stopped for a very nice lunch by request which was fitted in happily after the outdoor sites when we were ready to cool off. We also stopped at the Temple of Artemis for a quick photo of one of the 7 ancient wonders of the world. Would definitely recommend this tour guide for communications, accommodating any changes and excellent knowledge. Also top tip - check Kusasasi Port timetable and choose a day to visit Ephesus when there are no cruise ships or only small ships in port as this will increase the crowds massively if there are big ships in port.
