Itinerario

This was a very enjoyable day trip. Our driver was completely flexible, informative and pleasurable. Eagles nest is spectacular and the museum is one of the best I’ve been to. Being from Colorado and having seen many glacier lakes, we opted to skip the lake and take in some views on the backroads. Our driver made this hassle free and enjoyable!
This was the best tour I’ve ever gone on (and the best of many good ones during our recent central Europe trip)! Our guide, Michael, was top-notch! He knew his history backwards and forwards for this tour as well as adding info about our other tours - including other countries! The Eagles Nest is something you can’t explain until you stand at the top! Obviously there is some very dark history included but Michael handles it respectfully and vividly. The ride is a bit winding going to the top (obviously) but other than that, I can’t think of any other “watch-outs).
My family spent 3 days touring with Michael and he was such a pleasure to spend time with! We did a 4 hour tour of Salzburg, full day to eagles nest and Betchestgarten, and a full day to Hallstatt and salt mines. Ages ranged from my 16 year old son to 76 year old parents. Michael easily pivoted to accommodate a bit less walking for my parents while keeping things interesting for the rest of us. He was incredibly knowledgeable and showed us some of the most beautiful landscapes we’ve ever seen! Highly recommend Michael for your guide.
Our guides, Michael and Luciano were what made the trip the most memorable. Even though we couldn’t get to the Eagles Nest because of snow conditions, they altered our trip to accommodate what we wanted to see including the Documentation Center and views of the Eagles Nest, which is a must see for all. When Michael learned that our Sound of Music tour was a little lacking in what we saw, he made it a point to bring us to the sights we didn’t make on our bike tour. How fabulous is that!! Being in a personal van sure beats the coach bus experience. Five stars!!!
I loved the experience, I would definitely go back again. The place is magical and the lunch or German is perfect. Just a tip for anyone going on a tour, be careful not to lose your group, as local buses take a long time to pass.
We had a private tour with this gentleman and it was fantastic. It was just my wife and me and we were a little reluctant at first to be the only ones going on the trip, but it turned out to be fantastic. Mr. Toth was very knowledgeable, energetic, helpful and enthusiastic about the trip. I am not sure if he does this for everyone, but he took us on a side trip to Ramsau bei Berchtesgaten and we fell in love with the little town. 10/10. Definitely recommend this tour guide for your group, couples or solo excursions in western Austria Salzburg.
Very educational and very beautiful view. Provides good insight into past events. Very safe buses that take you up.
Pick up by Luciano was early/on time He gave us lots of information. We had time at Konigsee to do our own thing then Eagles Nest trip was very well organised although we did not realise we had to pay extra for tickets on top of what we had already paid. Thanks to Luciano for looking after our party of 7 family members so well. Weather was suberb!
Our family of five, enjoyed our private tour with Carlos to the eagles nest and the surrounding areas. The Mercedes van was extremely comfortable, and Carlos was a knowledgeable and kind and considerate tour guide. We were traveling with my older mother with some minor mobility issues, but all was well, and we were very well catered to. My son particularly enjoyed Carlos‘s perspective on the history of the eagles nest.
We had the most fabulous day with Carlos visiting Eagles Nest and Kings Lake, then on to our new accommodation in Munich. We could not fault the tour! It was all fabulous, even finding us a place to have a vegan meal. Nothing was too much trouble, no question was left unanswered and his knowledge of every part of our trip was impeccable. I would highly recommend Carlos for your private tour and will hopefully get back here one day to do a new trip!
