Lasciamo la città di Salisburgo guidando verso sud fino al confine tedesco, la tua guida privata ti spiegherà la storia della città di Salisburgo e come, per molti anni, fu un principato indipendente governato dalla chiesa cattolica e l'importanza del sale e di come ha influenzato la crescita della città. Altri punti di interesse saranno spiegati sulla rotta per la prossima posizione.
Sulla strada per il capolinea degli autobus di Obersalzberg avremo un paio di fantastiche soste. La tua guida privata ti mostrerà dove si trovava tutto tra il 1933 e il 1945. Luoghi come i terreni del Berghof, l'ingresso ai bunker, la caserma delle SS e molto altro. Dopo aver dato un'immagine mentale e l'orientamento spaziale della montagna, un modello in scala al terminal degli autobus ti aiuterà a capire dove si trova tutto.
Visita l'Eagle Nest con la tua guida privata. Dal terminal degli autobus Eagle's Nest. Salirete a bordo di un autobus di montagna appositamente attrezzato per un giro mozzafiato lungo la strada di 4 miglia, con il 27% di pendenza su un altopiano roccioso. Da lì cammineremo attraverso un tunnel lungo 406 piedi (124 metri), conducendoci direttamente all'ascensore originale in ottone della seconda guerra mondiale che ti trasporterà attraverso il cuore della montagna Kehlstein per un altro 406 piedi, direttamente nel nido dell'Aquila stessa. Dopo un tour attraverso l'Eagle's Nest, avrai del tempo libero per goderti la vista o fare un rinfresco.

Nel pomeriggio potrete esplorare il mondo sotterraneo di una miniera di sale di 500 anni o visitare il Königsee, un lago glaciale situato in una valle circondata da montagne, e godervi un giro in barca fino a San Bartolomeo.
Se si sceglie di fare il giro in barca nel pomeriggio si può visitare la Cappella di San Bartolomeo situata sul lato opposto del Lago dei Re.

The guide was very knowledgeable about the area and was able to adjust our plans accordingly for the weather. We went on a foggy/cloudy day so we spent time talking inside and then when the skies started to open up we got to go outside and check out the views.
Enriching excursion, mythical place, our guide Carlos Loureiro was excellent, he provided us with a lot of information. The village of Berchtesgaden is beautiful. The salt mine, over 400 years old, was quite an experience, to be avoided by those who are claustrophobic.
This private tour with Carlos was just incredible! He had so much knowledge and we also got to do some things that were not on the itinerary like go to the meadow from Sound of Music. He recorded us doing a little twirl as well as playing the music for us. So fun!
Our family spent an amazing day with our guide Michael!! Be the end of the day he was part of our family, or we were part of his. His knowledge of everything around Eagles Nest and all of Salzburg was amazing. The weather started out challenging, but Michael never let that affect his enthusiasm or ours. Later in the day the sun came out and we finished at a beautiful lake together. His recommendations for dinner excellent. Thank you, Michael, for everything!
My wife and I very much enjoyed our private tour of Eagles Nest and the Bavarian Alps with Salzburg Private Tours. From start to finish the experience was superb. We did a customized version of the tour and did not visit the Salt Mines. The owner Thomas was super easy to work with setting up our tour. He was very responsive via email. When he learned we were visiting Peru later in the summer, he even took the time to email restaurant recommendations for Lima and Cusco. The Mercedes was spotless and brand new. Super comfortable. Our guide Michael was outstanding. He was super knowledgeable about Obersalzburg and Eagles Nest and the role they played during WWII. While both Thomas and Michael are Bavarian they spoke openly and frankly about that period and Hitler. Both Thomas and Michael were interesting and very knowledgeable. It was easy to spend the day with them. Later that day we visited a few mountain locations from the Sound of Music filming, that due to weather we couldn't visit 2 days earlier, as well as a lovely village from lunch and a hike. We would go back to tour with Thomas and Michael in an instant. Great value for the price

Carlos was an exceptional, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful tour guide. He gave excellent recommendations through the trip and helped us throughout the day with making bookings and getting the best views. I would highly recommend him to anyone going to Salzburg.
This was one of the best tours we have had on all of our travels. Our guide was knowledgeable, fun and friendly. He answered questions and provided us with information that you wouldn’t find with just the informational plaques. He was able to give us some tips and tricks to get the most out of our experience. Honestly if I could have Carlos as a guide for all the activities we’ve been on that would be great. He was a great guide and genuinely seemed to care in providing proper information and guidance in understanding the nuances involved in the history of Salzburg. I cannot recommend this tour more.
Wow, this was by far our favorite day. In part due to the experience, the scenery, the history, but also due to our private tour guide Carlos. We were a group of 6 family and friends ages 17-69. We were planning to do the Eagle's Nest + boat ride on Konigssee Lake but unfortunately the Eagle's Nest was closed that day for technical issues. Carlos was prompt in picking us up at our apartment in Salzburg, told us of the change of plans immediately and changed the tour to fit our liking to make sure we still got out of it what we wanted. And we did! His Mercedes Van was comfortable and we felt very safe driving with him. We went to Obersalzburg and saw the sites of Hitler's home as well as the homes of Hermann Goering and Martin Bormann, a school, hotel, all where many WWII decisions were made. We also visited the museum and Bunkers built in 1943. Afterwards we made our way to the Alpine Lugge, so fun! And an added addition. Lunch was incredible and we enjoyed it with Carlos and his recommendations on the BEST lemonade and food. Lastly we went to Berchtesgaden and took a boat ride on Konigssee Lake. Carlos never made us feel rushed, we took many stops for the panoramic view of the Bavarian Alps and photos, and even took us by a bank in the morning to exchange money. Carlos was the best tour guide we've ever had.
