Puoi scegliere di partire in qualsiasi momento dalle 8:00 alle 9:30 - la tua guida privata ti raccoglierà dal tuo hotel per il breve viaggio alla stazione ferroviaria di Pechino Sud. Viaggiando con un treno ad alta velocità, ci vuole circa mezz'ora per raggiungere Tianjin - anche se è a 85 miglia (137 chilometri) da Pechino.
All'arrivo, trasferirai su un veicolo adatto: un pullman, un minivan o un'auto con autista privato o, per gruppi di tre o meno, un taxi. La tua prima tappa è Porcelain House, una villa coloniale in stile francese degli anni '20 ricoperta da migliaia di pezzi di porcellana antica. Oltre all'aspetto esteriore, l'interno di 5.000 metri quadri (4.200 metri quadrati) ospita un museo di porcellane e oggetti d'antiquariato, tra cui spettacolari sculture in marmo, cristalli e gemme semipreziose della collezione del proprietario, Zhang Lianzhi .
Successivamente, scopri di più sul passato internazionale di Tianjin con una visita a Five Great Avenues (Wudadao), un'area che ospita oltre 2000 ville in stile giardino costruite dalle potenze occupanti negli anni 1920 e 1930. Si potrebbe desiderare di fare un giro in carrozza trainata da cavalli intorno alla zona (spese proprie) per catturare lo splendore architettonico al suo meglio. ⸻ We are extremely pleased we did this day trip. The guide was able to showcase the city to us, and the thoughtful planning made the experience both enjoyable and memorable. The itinerary involved quite a bit of walking, which requires a good level of fitness. It was assumed we were up for it, and thankfully we were able to complete the journey and spend hours exploring. The guide’s extensive knowledge was impressive — that we were shared fascinating historical insights and architectural details that we greatly appreciated. We also enjoyed lunch at a local restaurant. The recommended dishes were absolutely delicious. By the time we left at 7pm, the light show on the buildings along the river also started. The fast speed train is also another enjoyable experience.

We had a wonderful time at Tiajin, exploring the Italian and the Chinese street, all thanks to Maggie! The trip from Beijing to Tianjin was amazing..Everything was perfectly organised by our guide Maggie..she took great care of us and made sure that we see everything included in the tour..since my husband is a vegetarian she made sure that he eats comfortably..the European and the Chinese streets were great and the Tianjin eye was also very good..all in all thanks to our tour guide Maggie who communicated well in English and made the trip a success 👍🏻
