It is ideal for seeing the most important things because the place is immense and it is very easy to get lost or lose control of the tour. The guide is excellent.

The opera itself is nice and a good look into chinese culture, but there is no need to buy the ticket here. Just buy it on the spot the day of the representation (even only 30min before), there will be room for you in the theatre and you will pay it much cheaper.
The snacks provided are ridiculous. I had to complain twice to get the tea. I expected more from the opera.

Its a cool experience but we think is a little overpriced, nice that they have subtitles in english.

I don't speak Mandarin so well, but I would like to watch live Peking Opera. As a result, the play was good and I enjoyed it! Because both sides of stage have TV screens showing subtitles of performer's lines, I could understand summary of this play to some extent. I'm not familiar with Opera, but performers have a powerful and resonant voice, so I could be impressed by this play! --I'm sorry I forget to take a photo because I was absorbed in this play--

This is something different to go and see on your trip to Beijing, as westerners we didn't understand the premise of all of the stories told but the acrobatics were very good.
