Il museo è aperto tutti i giorni dalle 9:00 alle 17:00 (ultimo ingresso alle 16:00) ed è chiuso il lunedì. Ogni giornata è suddivisa in tre fasce orarie di ingresso : 9 : 00–11 : 00, 11 : 00–13 : 30 e 13 : 30–16 : 00. Il giorno della visita, i visitatori devono presentare il passaporto originale utilizzato per la prenotazione insieme al QR Code del biglietto di tutti, ed entrare attraverso l'ingresso visitatori North Gate durante la fascia oraria riservata. I visitatori senza prenotazione, i cui dati del passaporto non corrispondono, o che perdono la loro fascia oraria riservata non saranno autorizzati ad entrare. DATO CHE SE SIETE IN RITARDO IL MUSEO NON VI PERMETTERÀ DI ENTRARE! Dopo il museo poi andare a visitare la Piazza Tienanmen dal codice QR del museo. Il biglietto non è modificabile e non rimborsabile 24 ore prima del giorno della visita!!! I viaggiatori con carta d'identità Cinese o passaporto non possono essere accettati. Si farà in modo che non è possibile prenotare con successo e non può essere permesso di entrare!

I knew visitor numbers were very limited and I booked this fairly last minute. I had my doubts it would work but it did! Thank you for helping me visit the museum which I really wanted to go to.
You pay for nothing, both are free. It can be easily taken out on the official website. Does not include the Forbidden City.
We do know this is for pre-booking for entrance only. But you should elaborate of things like long wait lines, series of very tight security checks, etc. Keeping customers in the dark about those cause difficulties. If we know in advance, we could be more prepared for it.
it is not always like that long wait lines or tight security check, especially it is adjacent to Tiananmen Square and People's hall many political event will be hold there. it is unpredictable for us. Thank you

Tiananmen square is a must in Bejing. Very impressive. The museum gives a great overview of the different time periods in Chinese history. I especially like the exhibition of the flags and the costumes. Be aware that there are quite long lines to enter the square. So come early enough! And take water with you. The process with the ticket is simple. A big plus booking through Viator: on the official sites everything was already completely booked but on Viator you could still get the tickets.

China National Museum is worth visiting! It has a staggeringly rich collection. I received the ticket QR code and entered the museum easily.

messaged to see if the tickets had been booked, no reply, night before booking got an email that it had been cancelled. Hopefully can get it refunded as it was the company that cancelled not us

To say this agency is unprofessional is to give them too much credit. Our reservation to the national museum and Tian Meng square was confirmed immediately. When the tickets didn’t arrive within 24 hours, I repeatedly reached out to the tour operator, without a response. That morning, I received a cancellation notice from the agency - without any explanation. In fairness, the agency did issue a full refund, but it was my family’s last day in Beijing and because of the last minute cancellation, we were unable to book tickets to any other sights without a reservation in advance. What a shame.

My worst experience! I couldn’t get ticket at the gate and at the last minute, I received a message from viator that my booking was canceled. This is really frustrating and the reliability of Viator itself was damaged a lot. This was the worst case that I have experienced. I think the tour agency, named “China Pleasure Tour Co. Ltd (Reg # 91110105763505912M at Beijing Municipal AIC Enterprise Registry) should be expelled from Aviator platform. No recommendation of this tour!
