Premium Minivan Trip from Rome : Pompei Tour & Pranzo a Sorrento

This was one of my favourite activities while visiting Italy. The guided tour in Pompeii was incredible (led by the lovely Diana). The beachside lunch just outside of Sorrento was relaxing and delicious. You will see unforgettable views along the ocean. The van was luxurious and comfortable. I’d recommend bringing a neck pillow if you want to sleep on the way back. You will be driving for two hours and 20 minutes on the way there before the first stop. No bathroom breaks. It is highway driving and if you get carsick, I’d recommend taking something. The ride back is 3 hours without stopping. The trip still 100% worth it even with the long drive there and back. The drivers are friendly and attentive. Our driver was Leonardo. We enjoyed getting to know the other passengers. It’s a good idea to bring a refillable water bottle (especially while touring Pompeii in the summer), some tissue paper, and hand sanitizer. A battery pack to charge our phones came in handy. Sun hat, neck fan, and light backpack were also useful. This trip is worth every dollar! Bring some cash to tip your guides. We will never forget this experience and we highly recommend it.

Excellent start to finish. Lovely driver and tour guide. Nice touch getting a slush at one of the seaview stops. All included day out and we all thoroughly enjoyed it.

We had an absolutely incredible experience on our excursion from Rome to Pompeii and Sorrento! From start to finish, everything was so well organized, enjoyable, and memorable. We started our day with an amazing breakfast & coffee at a local bakery in Pompeii which was such a lovely way to begin the excursion. Our driver, Josh, was absolutely fantastic—so kind, friendly, and an excellent driver. We always felt safe and well taken care of throughout the day. Our other guides, Alex and Jack, were also wonderful and made the experience even more enjoyable. Visiting the archaeological site of Pompeii was definitely a highlight, and our guide Grace was amazing! She was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and the area, but what really stood out was how engaging she was. She brought Pompeii to life and made learning about the site so interesting. The drive down to Sorrento was beautiful, with incredible views along the way. We even made an unexpected stop for fresh lemonade and limoncello, which was such a wonderful surprise! It wasn’t even part of the original plan, but it ended up being one of those little moments that made the day extra special. We also had a delicious lunch in Sorrento while taking in the beautiful scenery. Everyone involved in this tour went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing day. You can truly tell how much they care about giving their guests a memorable experience. I could not recommend this experience enough! If you’re visiting Rome and have the opportunity to take this excursion to Pompeii and Sorrento, DO IT! It was one of the highlights of our trip and an experience we will never forget.

This was the perfect tour to eng an exciting week in Rome. Roberto our driver was excellent, the breakfast stop was spot on and the lunch spot was perfect. The tour guide in Pompeii explained every question and showed us unique details of the city. This is a 5 star service. We will definitely choose them for our next visit!

Amazing group tour. Very friendly, very accommodating. They are responsive messaging through the app. They sent reminders and valuable info through the app, text and email. It was a fun day very small tour to Pompeii and sorrento. The trip had breakfast at this cute bistro for croissants or donuts. Then to Pompeii where a licensed archeologist led an informative tour. Then on to sorrento for lemon slushies, stops along the coast for photo ops and an exceptional lunch at the beach level in Sorrento. Pick up and drop off in Rome. Our driver was so nice and had a lot of information about Italy. Highly recommended!
