We arrived early at the meeting spot, and Allison was early as well. We were delighted that it was just my fiancé and I on this private tour . We began our lovely journey through the Marais with Allison pointing out interesting history and remarkable places. We are from the US and don’t speak French so the fact that her English is perfect, made it very easy to understand her. She showed us things we would’ve never found on our own. She lives in the Marais so she is intimately familiar with all the little out of the way places a typical tourist would never see. Imagine my surprise when I learned I was the only one on my tour! This was a fun and relaxing tour. I went with a group of friends and enjoyed tasting the various beverages that we were introduced to. Some of the drinks are very much associated to France and others were a surprise to me. It also gave us a good sense of one of the more popular districts in Paris, which we continued to explore after the tour was finished. I recommend it!
