La scena del cioccolato di Portland è travolgente; lasciati guidare attraverso le sue origini, i creatori appassionati e la diversità con questo tour a piedi che approfondisce ciò che alcuni chiamano "decadenza" ma noi chiamiamo "gioia". E non potremmo coprire il cioccolato senza il seme tostato dell'altra nostra bacca tropicale preferita: il caffè! Portland è conosciuta come il cuore del mondo della torrefazione artigianale, con così tanti piccoli torrefattori, amanti del caffè che siamo, facciamo fatica ad assaggiarli tutti. Il nostro tour tocca sia i famosi punti salienti che alcuni dei segreti della scena del cioccolato, con alcune sorprese che non vogliamo rivelare. Il tour in totale è di circa 2,0 miglia (3,5 km), per lo più a piedi in piano, con degustazioni di cioccolato e caffè - la giusta quantità in modo da avere l'opportunità di assaporare veramente ogni sorso e boccone! Manteniamo i gruppi molto piccoli, quindi vivrai un'esperienza intima con le tue guide entusiaste. (Contattaci per gruppi più grandi o esperienze private; siamo felici di ospitare!)

Cammineremo attraverso il funky West End di Portland e ci fermeremo all'Azar Indulgences, dove la proprietaria Christine Azar ha progettato la sua combinazione ideale di entrambi i cioccolatini artigianali in stile belga dell'azienda di famiglia in Libano. I cioccolatini unici di Azar sono fatti in una tradizione di famiglia che risale a oltre un secolo fa; assaggeremo una selezione dei nostri preferiti di questi cioccolatini (anche se ad essere onesti è così difficile da raccogliere!).
Una delle nostre tappe abituali è sempre meno caffè - selezioneremo altre caffetterie nei giorni in cui l'orario o il gruppo lo richiede! Ogni caffetteria è scelta per presentare i migliori e più interessanti torrefattori e baristi locali
Nel Distretto Culturale, passeremo e descriveremo il museo d'arte e il suo ruolo nell'abbracciare l'artigianato della città mentre ci dirigiamo verso uno dei nostri caffè preferiti.
Ci fermeremo in un totale di due caffetterie, a seconda dell’interesse e della guida, che potrebbero includere Behind the Museum Cafe e Less and More Coffee. Qui scopriremo come il caffè fa parte della vita quotidiana di Portland e quanto profondamente i torrefattori di Portland abbiano influenzato la città e il mondo.
La nostra seconda cioccolateria si trova nel Pearl District di Portland. Orari e giorni variano quindi dipenderà dal gruppo, dalla data e dalla guida!

My husband and I knew we were in for a treat because we had done another tour with this company. And we were not wrong. Shannon was our guide and took us on an exploration through Downtown/Downtown adjacent Portland for all things coffee & chocolate. What a super fun time. We enjoyed two delicious cups of coffee and two chocolate tastings--both very different, both very yummy. We have returned to all four stops. And along with the treats for our bellies, Shannon treated us to wealth of treats for our brain about the history of Portland, things to do in the area & nearby, favorite restaurants/etc. She was so knowledgeable and so much fun. We could not believe the tour was over because the three hours flew by. You will not be disappointed if you book this tour.

Quick and informative walking tour filled with Portland's delicious coffee and chocolate. Friendly guides offered different beverage options. Make sure to have water and walking shoes ready to go.
Such a fun tour! Kelly was fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable about the locations we visited as well as the city as a whole. Coffee was amazing at the two locations we stopped at, and the chocolate locations were fantastic - I’m still thinking about them! There are several restaurants I want to check out and places we want to visit (courthouse, library, shops!) based on what we learned while walking between locations. Wear comfy shoes for walking. Highly recommend!
Nancy was our tour guide; she was on time, was friendly, very knowledgeable. We got a bit of Portland’s architectural history. I would love to have her as my tour guide for any other activity in Portland. Highly recommend her!!!!

This was a nice leisurely tour with five stops for treats. I loved the recommendations from the tour guide for her favorite items to try. You should have an awesome experience.
This tour was great. The cloud custard iced mocha at Less is More was one of the best drinks I have had. Kellie is fabulous. She's knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly loves her adopted home town. Two thumbs up!
