Costruita nel 1807, questa storica torre di segnalazione marittima è l'unica torre conosciuta del suo tipo negli Stati Uniti.
Situato su Congress Street, è la struttura più antica della penisola di Portland e la casa d'infanzia del poeta americano Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.
Costruito nel 1860, è riconosciuto come uno dei migliori esempi di grande brownstone all'italiana negli Stati Uniti.
La più grande e antica istituzione d'arte pubblica del Maine, la collezione è composta da oltre 18.000 opere d'arte da Andy Warhol a Winslow Homer a Claude Monet.
Commissionato da George Washington, è il faro più antico del Maine ed è ancora operativo.
Sede di Fort Allen Park e viste panoramiche e mozzafiato di Casco Bay

Could not hear most of the tour. Sat in the back. Additional speakers in the back woukd make a big improvement
Very nice short and simple tour of the city. Perfect amount of time at the might house. Nice way to spend a morning.
Great history of Portland. Take this trip the first day to get ideas of what to do. We enjoyed it very much.

The tournament guide gave a very enjoyable and colorful narration of the cities history . Wish we could auve walked up the lighthouse though.

This tour was very educational and fun mainly because of Wendy the Trolley Driver and Narrator. You could tell she loved her job! She was so enthusiastic and very funny. This tour gives you a great way to see the city and one lighthouse. I recommend it highly.
