Pisa&Florence highlights shore excursion from Livorno port

Gabrielle (aka Frank) was an excellent driver/tour guide, he was very informative and so much fun. Our group of 8 had a great time with Gabrielle. He took us to see the leaning tower of Pisa and Florence with other stops for photos.

Great port excursion from Livorno. David picked us up promptly with well marked sign when we got off the cruise. He took us to Florence to the David statue on the hill with beautiful views of Florence. I travel with a scooter now and had 5 others with me including teens, middle aged and senior. We all enjoyed the tour. David then took us to downtown Florence. This was an on your own experience with Michael pointing out some attractions en route and then Dropping us off with I believe two -2.5 hours to explore and eat. The Uffizi museum was not open on this day. And that’s a good thing. We would not have had time to go in. Pisa was another stop. Again self guided. Trip felt rushed at times because there’s so much to see. If the museums are important I would choose an only Florence excursion so you have time.

This tour operator was excellent. Gabriele, our tour guide, picked us up in an immaculate van that seated six travelers comfortably. His running commentary about Pisa and Florence was perfect and the fact that he is a local made his insight, very important. He was flexible, and the ability to customize our visit and the ability to get off of the van and be picked up made the tour very enjoyable. We will definitely visit with them again upon our return.

Wonderful experience! Our driver was awesome! Clean Mercedes van and he was very helpful. I have a mobility impairment and needed a scoter along. He was very accommodating. Would highly recommend this tour. Went to Pisa with 45 minutes of free time there and then off to Florence with beautiful views of Florence stop and then down into the square with time to have lunch.

Gabriele is a true gentleman. He was extremely helpful, pleasant and went above and beyond to facilitate our family. He was courteous and customized our tour by fulfilling our requests. He is super knowledgeable and his customer service is superior. We had the very best time in his hands without a doubt, and will certainly re-connect with him the next time we are back. Mama Mia! Gabrielle was utterly fantastic. He was kind, on time and very knowledgeable about the area. He took us to some amazing places with incredible views. He has excellent command of English and was able to show us and tell us about so much. This tour was the best of our vacation so far. We would tour with him again anytime!!

My wife and I had planned a visit to Florence for many years and finally made it this November. After searching the internet for tours we decided on Nicola Scovenna. The driver/guide met us as planned at the ship dock and escorted us to Florence filling us in with information for the durations of the ride and the day. Our focus was Florence although we drove thru Pisa for a quick visit to Pisa. Mattias was very knowledgeable of the many features of Florence, stayed with us throughout the tour and answered questions as we walked from one monument to the next. The highlight was viewing Michelangelo's David in the Accademia gallery for which tickets were needed and he had procured these in advance and worked the schedule around the visit. We could not have asked for anything more.

Had a fantastic journey in lovely Pisa and Florence. Very kind and professional driver who leads us downtown suggesting the best places to visit!! Really enjoyed the trip!
