Shane was amazing, from the great conversation and sharing of Chinese history and the great wall in the comfortable ride out there, to the tour itself which was amazing! He took great photos that will be forever memories for my son and I. I would highly recommend this tour
Kathy was a fantastic guide for our large group’s Great Wall tour. She kept everyone together with patience and warmth, shared great historical context, and paced the day perfectly — no rushing, plenty of time for photos. She surprised us with a trip to a tea house afterwards which was something we had wanted to do on our trip and hadn’t scheduled. If you want a guide who’s knowledgeable, organized, and genuinely caring, ask for Kathy. Highly recommend!
We had a great private tour of the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. My wife and I were picked up at our hotel in a private car by a driver and our tour guide, Lili. Lili was very informative about not only the Great Wall, but also Beijing. She arranged for online Great Wall entry tickets and cable car tickets in advance, which allowed us to skip all of the long lines after we arrived. She knew of all the short cuts which allowed us to get up to the wall in no time. The section of the wall that we were on was not very crowded and was very picturesque. On the way back to the hotel, we stopped at a roadside fruit stand to pick up some delicious local peaches. I couldn’t say more about our experience. I would recommend this tour to anyone. Worth every penny.
What a wonderful experience by our tour guide Sandy and our driver Mr Zhang who were amazing. Sandy was very knowledgeable about Beijing and the Great Wall. We had a family of one adult and three teenagers and Sandy and our driver were so accommodating and were also able to recommend places to eat, where to go shopping and other sight seeing options while we travel in Beijing. We had a great experience at the Wall and learnt about the history of this beautiful land and its treasure. Our trip to the Great Wall from Beijing was absolutely amazing, all thanks to our incredible guide Michael. He was knowledgeable, friendly, speaks good english and he made sure we had the best spots for photos without the crowds. Highly recommend!
Our tour guide, Melody, was excellent. Our tour was well organized so that we beat the crowds. Definitely worth the extra drive to see the wall at this location.

We spend a lot of time deciding which Wall site to visit and this was the best decision. The wall is amazing and the chair lift option and toboggan down was so unique and fun. Go in the morning as it got busier and hotter. Long queues to get in when we were leaving and no traffic getting to the site (1 hr 20 min) Request Guo Frank as the driver/guide. He was so helpful in showing us the right way and getting us in. He also gave us lots of space and time to enjoy it ourselves. This is absolute must do in China!!
