Risalente alla fine del 18° secolo, il mercato di Charleston City è un monumento storico nazionale che si estende su quattro isolati. Sede di oltre 300 venditori giornalieri, questo è uno dei mercati pubblici più antichi e più grandi della nazione.
Fort Sumter è un forte marino costruito su un'isola artificiale che protegge Charleston, nella Carolina del Sud, dall'invasione navale. La Circular Congregational Church di Charleston, SC, è stata fondata nel 1681 ed è una delle più antiche congregazioni in adorazione continua del sud. Passeremo oltre, ma non entreremo.
Situato nel cuore del quartiere storico di Charleston, questo importante punto di riferimento offre una vista spettacolare su Fort Sumter e sul porto di Charleston, dove i fiumi Ashley e Cooper sfociano nell'Oceano Atlantico. Fu adibito per la prima volta a giardino pubblico nel 1837. Con lo scoppio della Guerra Civile divenne una fortificazione per la città.

What a fantastic serendipitous evening: we booked last minute (only about an hour and a half ahead of time when our booking for a different tour fell through)… When we arrived at the meeting point, we found out that even though the booking was last minute and we were the only two people, Paul had nonetheless rushed down to meet us in order to give the tour. Paul wad engaging, witty, an excellent storyteller, and all-around exceptional ambassador for the culture, history, and quirky stories of Charleston (we even spent the evening competing to see who could work in the most groan worthy puns into the conversation). Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful tour with Bree! She had many interesting stories that were indeed scary and fun. One note - even if the tour ticket says 80 Broad - you need to meet your guide in the park next door.

It was just me and my sister on the tour due to a storm that scared off everyone else. Nonetheless our tour guide John made the experience fun and memorable. John knew so much about Charleston’s history and we enjoyed the way he told the spooky ghost stories! Highly recommend!

We had an engaging evening. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the city. His family history and first hand experiences gave our tour a special touch. John was attentive, had a great sense of humor, and made us all feel welcome. We loved our Revolutionary Charleston ghost tour.

This was my first ghost tour and it was amazing. I was worried it might be cheesy, but it was not. Brie was our tour guide, and she was fantastic! She gave us all the history, stories, and secrets of Charleston. She’s a fantastic story teller and kept us mesmerized the entire time. HIGHLY recommend!!

We had so much fun on our ghost tour led by Sarah. The time flew by and I could have easily enjoyed another hour and a 1/2. I was yearning for more stories based on Sarah's humor and enthusiasm. We learned a lot & smiled and laughed along the way. Great job Sarah!

Definitely had some creepy stories, most were completely new to us. We had heard one at an earlier event. The last story was the creepiest and made me glad it wasn't yet dark when we did it.
