Very interesting, informative & entertaining Wally was extremely knowledgeable-so glad I booked this tour
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable of the area. He answered all questions everyone on the bus had. He also talked about local food places as well.
The tour starting point was very easy to find at the Visitor Center with plenty of parking in their garage... Though they say weekends fill up mid morning. Our tour is on an air conditioned mini-bus. The temperature was great. The tour takes you all throughout the various sections of Charleston and gives you a high level view of the history. I was hoping it would go a little deeper than it did. The views also aren't great. If something is on the other side of the bus from you, you don't see much of it. This tour is good to get the lay of the land and also little tid bits of info to know what things you really want to see and dig into.
Great tour. The guide, Meg, was awesome! She knew so much about Charleston and is very passionate about the city. Also has a great sense of humor.
Tour guide John was perfect. We had just arrived in Charleston and wanted to get to know the town for the week. He did a great job of mixing history, food suggestions, and some interesting knowledge facts along the ride. The bus is very clean and the air conditioning was welcomed since the heat index was 111 that day.

It was a little difficult to figure out which tour company was running this tour as several different tours leave out of this area so carefully check your tickets against the tour bus. The tour guide was friendly and informative. It was good to be carted around and get a quick lay of the land. Unfortunately despite the tour guide asking us not to talk while he was talking, we had one couple that just didn't listen. Little by little people changed their seats away from them and when we had a chance at the end to leave a little early and get out at the Marketplace we pretty much all took that option. So if you go on the tour be considerate of others. The tour itself is good.

Very comfortable, informative and funny tour! Major Ted was an excellent guide and gave an excellent overview of the history and features of the city.
The tour canceled because I was the only person who booked and they won’t do the tour for one person. The problem is that was 9:00 yesterday and I have not been credited back the fee.
