Passeggiata a cavallo alla cascata di La Fortuna
Descrizione
In sella per una grande passeggiata a cavallo fino alla splendida cascata La Fortuna. Immergiti nel paesaggio mentre sali verso questa potente cascata di 65 metri La Fortuna che precipita nella fitta giungla e nelle piscine scintillanti. Mentre ci facciamo strada terremo d'occhio tucani, iguane, parrocchetti e bradipi. Smontando i cavalli facciamo un'escursione di 15 minuti giù per la cascata attraversando un ponte sospeso ottenendo una vista a volo d'uccello della chioma. Alla base della cascata si può fare una nuotata veloce e godersi le piscine fresche rinfrescanti. Tornando attraverso la giungla ci fermeremo al Villaggio Indigeno Maleku prima di tornare alla base a cavallo. Nota: Quando visiterete la Cascata dovrete salire cinquecento scale e poi risalire.

Amazing experience! Not too long or too short. You ride horses to the waterfall and you can get up close and personal to the waterfall. We were also able to get into the waterfall river. Really nice views. Be prepared to walk so wear some good walking shoes with grip. You will be going down and up a lot of stairs when you get off the horse to view the waterfall. After taking a dip to cool off, our tour guides cut up super sweet pineapples for everyone to indulge after the hike up from seeing the waterfall. Our tour guides Kevin and Jackson were amazing guides! They took pictures for us throughout the experience and were very friendly. On the way back we stopped to see deadly red frogs, toucans and sloths in the trees.

Lovely scenery but the horses were very sad. As experienced horse people, it hurt us to see their ribs sticking out and the deadness in their eyes. Their hackamores were cruelly tight. They are marched straight up a mountain on concrete and straight back down. A lot to ask of any animal. Sorry, but it’s true! 😢
