Parigi a Giverny Gita di mezza giornata Casa e giardini di Monet in minivan

Descrizione

Sebastian was an excellent guide. Punctual and knowledgeable with clear communication skills. Definitely can recommend.
Sebastián was an excellent tour operator. He shared a bit of Claude Monet’s story on the way, and gave us a good tip on arrival (to visit Monet’s house first and then the gardens — this was a pro tip!). The drive each way was about 1.5-2hrs and we spent 2hrs at the site, which felt like enough (would it be nice to sit and relax and stare at the pond, sure, but with so many visitors, it was ok to move through at a leisurely pace). It was also nice heading to Le Capucines for a homemade lemonade and olive fougasse afterwards.
Dear Danielle, Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We are delighted to hear that you had such an enjoyable visit to Giverny and that Sebastián helped make your day so memorable. We will be sure to share your kind words with him, and we are certain he will be delighted to know that his insights about Claude Monet and his helpful recommendations enhanced your experience. It is great to know that you found the itinerary well balanced and that you had enough time to discover Monet's house and gardens at a comfortable pace. We are also pleased that you were able to enjoy the charm of Giverny beyond the gardens with a relaxing stop at a local café. Thank you for recommending this experience. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you again on another adventure with France Tourisme. Next time, we would be delighted to introduce you to our excursion to the Loire Valley or our Champagne day trip to Reims for another unforgettable experience. Kind regards, Alice de France Tourisme
Wonderful day at Giverny and Versailles. Frederic was an amazing guide and made sure we arrived at Giverny first thing and allowed a leisurely visit to the house and gardens followed by a delicious lunch nearby. The afternoon was spent at Versailles in all its splendor. Just a perfect touring day. Don’t miss this one. .

Giverny, Monet's House and Gardens are all beautiful and worth seeing. I'm posting this review only to inform prospective customers to be careful if the actual trip provider is France Tourisme, based on our experience. We took a van to Giverny and saw the house and gardens, but about half way back to Paris, the driver pulled the van to the side of the road and said their was a problem. It was a highway with a narrow shoulder and tractor-trailers whizzing by shaking the van. The driver said to stay in the van but it was not safe so we got out of the van. We climbed over a concrete barrier to get off of the highway. We were there for about 45 minutes. A tow truck came and towed us to its garage. It turned out that the van had run out of gas! I heard the driver say that his colleague who had the van the previous afternoon was supposed to fill it up. That sounded like the driver didn't check the gas level before we left. France Tourisme later said the fuel gauge wasn't accurate but I don't believe that based on what the driver said. All in all we were an hour and a quarter delayed. We asked for a partial refund. The person at the France Tourisme desk said they would give a 25% refund. Then we got an email from France Tourisme saying they wouldn't give a refund because we got to the house and gardens, but they would offer a free boat cruise on the Seine. We had already been on a boat cruise and were leaving Paris the next day so their offer was worthless to us. All of the passengers felt that some refund was in order. In any event, be careful if France Tourisme is the tour operator and I would suggest you ask the van driver if there is fuel.
Hello, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed Giverny, Monet’s House, and the beautiful gardens. We are sorry that the return journey caused concern. During the drive back to Paris, a warning light appeared on the vehicle's dashboard. As a precaution and to ensure everyone's safety, our guide chose to stop and assess the situation before continuing. Once it was determined that the vehicle could not safely proceed, assistance was arranged, and although this resulted in a short delay, the group returned to our agency only a little later than originally scheduled. We understand that this unexpected interruption affected your overall experience, and we regret that our proposed commercial gesture did not meet your expectations. While the excursion was completed in full, including the visit to Giverny, we appreciate your feedback and take it seriously as it helps us continue improving our service. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again on another excursion, perhaps to the Loire Valley Castles or to Versailles, and provide you with the smooth and memorable experience that our guests have come to expect. Kind regards, Alice France Tourisme
Our “driver guide” did absolutely no guiding and was an extremely erratic and dangerous driver, who far exceeded the speed limit and tailgated continuously. Giverny itself is magical and well worth a visit, but not with this tour.
Hello Jill, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed visiting Giverny and that you found Monet’s gardens to be a memorable experience. However, we are very sorry to learn about your concerns regarding the transportation. Safety is our highest priority, and we take comments about driving behavior very seriously. We regret that you felt uncomfortable during the journey, as this is not the level of service we aim to provide to our guests. We would also like to clarify that this excursion is operated with a driver-host rather than a licensed guide, which is why the level of commentary may differ from a fully guided tour. Nevertheless, we understand your disappointment and appreciate you sharing your experience. Your comments will be forwarded to the appropriate team for review. If you would like to discuss your experience in more detail, please feel free to contact us at info@francetourisme.fr We are glad that Giverny itself lived up to your expectations, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a more satisfying experience on a future visit, perhaps on one of our guided excursions to Versailles or the Loire Valley Castles. Kind regards, Alice de France Tourisme
It was a lovely afternoon in Claude Monet's garden. Despite many visitors, it was pleasant to stroll around the garden. The visitors were spread out there. Our guide, Roland from France Tours, safely and entertainingly drove our small group and accompanied us through the garden. A special thank you to him!
Andrés is an outstanding guide. He handled every challenge with tact, patience and professionalism. Of course, Giverny sells itself - do I really need to review that? Amazing place.
Hello, Thank you for your wonderful feedback. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your visit to Giverny and that Andrés made such a positive impression throughout the day. His professionalism, patience, and dedication to our guests are qualities we truly value, and we will be sure to share your kind words with him. Giverny is indeed a magical destination, and we are pleased that you had the opportunity to experience its beauty in such great conditions. We hope to welcome you again on another adventure, perhaps to the Loire Valley Châteaux or on a Champagne tasting excursion in Reims, two unforgettable experiences that showcase other remarkable treasures of France. Kind regards, Alice de France Tourisme.
