PALENQUE - Tour storico e culturale con i nativi africani

Descrizione
10/10 experience our tour guide terry was the best. A very detailed walk through of the history, traditions, & cultures in palenque. The lunch was amazing as well. Would recommend!
Awesome and organised. My guide was excellent, clear and passionate. Everything describe was delivered. (Better to book the morning to ensure the medicine part of the tour is open.) I would book again in my next visit.
The drive for the 8am shift was long due to morning traffic, so I would suggest the 11am shift. However I must say being able to experience it without all the tourist traffic which occured after 12pm was incredible. The guides show patience and explained everything very well and we were able to go at our pace. I highly recommend as you're giving back to locals using this company.
Wasn’t an experience at all. I had to rebook the trip with another group. Maybe this is abnormal for them but it was an awful experience for me and waste of my day.
From the Afrotour Palenque S.A.S tourism agency, we absolutely reject this opinion which only aims to leave our company badly. It is worth mentioning that you did not attend the tour of San Basilio de Palenque, for your reasons, and in addition to this, the respective reimbursement of your economic resources was made. We as an agency, provide excellent service, and to sample are the opinions of our clients.
It was great visiting thr Palenque village. Everyone in the village was so welcoming. I loved the energy of the village as a whole. It gave me a sense of family. AhKee was a wonderful tour guide as well, he was so informative and passionate about teaching the history of the town.
It takes about 1hour 15 minutes from Cartagena. When you get to San Basilio de Palengue you are welcomed by greeted by English speaking tour guides. There is a native medicine doctor who will bless, pray and present you with a bracelet. The lunch is delicious if you like fresh caught fish.
I had a wonderful time on this part day trip to Palenque starting from the Port of Cartagena where I was collected by my driver. Lovely day spent learning about this first Maroon settlement. and being exposed to the culture of the community today and wrapping up with a lovely lunch before being transported back to Cartagena. I highly recommend this experience to anyone interested in knowing about these Maroon communities and their historical and contemporary resistance struggles.
We were treated kindly from the moment we met until we returned. There is so much passion and beauty in everyone talking about their home and culture and I appreciate that they continue sharing with us. It was a great experience. Highly recommended!
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to be your guides 😃☺️☺️😃
Thanks to the afrotour tourism agency, I have been able to understand a lot about the history, customs and legacy of the first free black people in America. I invite those travelers who want to know San Basilio de Palenque to live their experience with Afrotour and their local guide Faider Hernández. They will live a unique and unparalleled experience.
Thank you for trusting our company. Our goal is to make possible the dream of every world traveler who decides to visit this historic and cultural community.
PLEASE take this tour. Both guides were amazing. I can’t remember one of their names (so sorry) but the other is Gabriel and he was soooooo nice and informative. Also the lunch was good, can’t go wrong with any dish you choose. The people were nice and I love learning about history. You won’t regret this tour at all!!!!! Bring fans it’s hot!
Thank you for trusting our company to live a unique experience.
