Pacchetto Poon Hill Trek

Our trek with Gore was incredible. Although we had disruptions to the start with rain, we were able to condense our 8 day trek to Poon Hill and Annapurna base camp into 7. Gore managed to organise everything so calmly and efficiently. He always made sure we had the best tea houses to stay with the best food. We didn’t have to think of anything except putting one front in-front of the other and enjoying the view. He had so much knowledge of the surrounding areas and trails. He was more than just a guide, he was a great companion. Our porters, Keshab and Muncha were so considerate and kind and worked so hard! Before leaving, Bishnu was really helpful communicating what we needed too! It was such an incredible experience, thank you team!

Wow! We had the best and most perfectly planned trip with our guide Gore. He knew the route like the back of his hand and booked us in all the best teahouses along the route. We had the most incredible rooms and he really sorted us out. He was so friendly and smiley and had lots of interesting information to share about Nepal and the ABC route. He let us go at our own pace and still we managed to have plenty of time in the evenings to relax. We will definitely be returning to Nepal and will be sure to book with Gore again. Cannot recommend him highly enough. Thank you Gore ! Also special mention to the two lovely porters Moncha and Kshab, without them it would not have been possible either!

Bishnu was my guide and he was very helpful, he was on time, and checked in on me a lot. I recommend this company if you are wanting to explore Nepal, they provide good service. Poon Hill has incredibly beautiful views. I did 3 days but I highly recommend longer if you’d like to trek at a more leisurely pace.

I’ve just finished the 4-day Poon Hill trek with my guide, Raj, and porter, Keshop, and I’m pleased to say that it was such a great experience. Nepal is an incredible country, with a hospitable and welcoming culture, and I felt that it was still safe to travel to despite the recent events. Raj and Keshop were incredibly supportive and encouraging throughout the trek, and I must give special praise and recognition to all the porters, who do such an incredible job for their clients. Nepal Hiking Adventures was easy to communicate with via WhatsApp, and they arranged all of my trekking documentation. One piece of feedback would be that communication could be better. However, two days before I was due to leave, they did message me to confirm that everything was in place. Prior to this, I had to send messages myself to reassure myself that everything had been arranged. The Poon Hill trek may be classed as “easy”, but I would definitely class it as moderate, requiring a good level of fitness to complete. Although I’m able to walk several miles comfortably on a flat surface, the changing terrain and steep inclines can make certain sections of the trek very challenging. In particular, the four-hour uphill trek along a steep staircase to Ulleri is a real test. The view from the top is definitely worth it, though. In order to give yourself the best chance of clear skies, I would recommend avoiding August and September and instead trying to go between November and January.

I had such an amazing experience with my guide Bishnu on the 3-day Poonhill hike! He was super welcoming and helped out with everything. I got lucky with being the only one in the group so had a private experience & it was the blooming season - so pretty. Also, even though the views were a bit cloudy sometimes, the trek was definitely worth it!! Definitely also beginner-friendly - no need to hike super fast.

We did a 4 day/3 night trek with Ram. From the start everything was fantastic. Bishnu answered every question in the lead up to the trek patiently. The places we stayed had amazing views and food was great. Ram, our guide, looked after our every need...getting us extra blankets, bringing us tea and encouraging us when the going got tough! He is patient and a wealth if knowledge. I would defo recommend this company and Ram as a guide.

Amazing experience! Ram was the best guide who looked after us for the whole trip! We stayed in such beautiful tea houses on the trip where we were served great food and tea! Ram helped us with anything we were finding hard including carrying one of our coats! He also always let us know the plan for the day and let us go at our own pace....experiencing the views and environment around us. We loved it! The certificate collection from Kathmandu at the end was also such a bonus and nice gift for memories (including the t-shirt!) Highly recommend this company and this trek.

Great experience trekking to Poon Hill Ghorepani with the guide Bishnu. He will accommodate you and make sure that you are well and have everything you need and will do the trek at your pace. The accommodation and food is great. It was very beautiful and I recommend this tour to anyone. 5 stars!

This was my first experience of Nepal and hiking at such heights. The whole package was such an incredible experience and I will never forget some of the sensational sights I have now witnessed. I travelled with a group of friends, with all of us facing personal challenges to take a breath and see another wow piece of scenery and feel so lucky to be there…and to walking to the next animal fix, village beauty, waterfall stroll .( without steps ;) We were fortunate to have the best guide, Ram, who led us well and offered amazing stays, patience, banter, laughs, phrases, extra blankets and card games - he could do our trail running backwards. It was so eye opening to learn about mountain side culture and community and it was humbling to be a part of that for a glimpse. It was tough but so worth it for mesmerising sights. My favourite moment might be the sunrise at Poon Hill with a hot cup of masala tea - every 5 minutes was a different view - magical. If you’re thinking about it do it and our company were the best, particularly Ram. We even got a named certificate- I love a certificate! Thanks for providing us with one of my top holidays yet.
