Ortigia è un isolotto e corrisponde a uno dei quartieri di Siracusa. La passeggiata serale, soprattutto estiva, è rinfrescata dalla brezza marina e la bellezza del centro storico è esaltata dalle luci della sera.
Il tempio di Apollo costituisce uno dei più antichi esempi di tempio greco costruito in pietra datato agli inizi del VI secolo a.C.
La comunità ebraica di Siracusa è stata tra le grandi del bacino del mediterraneo che ha abitato, perfettamente integrata ala società di quel tempo, nel quartiero della Giudecca che non era un ghetto, ma semplicemente un quartiere dell'isola di Ortigia. Espulsi nel 1492, gli ebrei non torneranno più a vivere in Ortigia ma sarà un'occasione di parlare di una pagina interessante della storia di Siracusa passeggiando tra i vicoli stretti del quartiere ebraico.
La Piazza Duomo di Siracusa è una delle piazze più suggestive e più belle d'Italia che racchiude una storia millenaria.

This was a disastrous experience as we never met the guide. Really a shame because it was a tour scheduled on 31.12.2022 from 6 to 8 p.m., and we had organized our evening accordingly. I also point out that we were at the meeting place from 5:45 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. No calls from the operator despite our contact details provided when booking via TripAdvisor. We are currently waiting for a refund for a sum close to 200 euros! It's a shame.

Mi spiace anche non avere ricevuto nessuno messaggio o chiamata da parte sua, nonostante i miei contatti siano disponibili, per assicurarsi che io sarei stato disponile per una guida serale per l'ultimo giorno dell'anno prenotata poche ore prima. In ogni caso lei è stato pienamente rimborsato e sono certo che la bellezza di Ortigia per la Notte di Capodanno sarà stata di suo gradimento. Cordiali saluti P.S. We loved this tour. Great guide who is very knowledgeable and a beautiful city. Went out of his way to accomodate us and gave a fantastic restaurant recommendation.
Our first evening in the lovely city of Ortigia was spent with Italo who guided us through the back alleys of hidden neighborhoods while pointing out places and objects of historic relevance which we would never have been aware of let even noticed. The true star was Italo our guide who has aloe and passion for the rich history of Ortogia. We loved him so much that we also booked his tour of the Greek theatre which was equally amazing grazie Italo
Lovely night tour of the unknown part of the city. Shared his great knowledge of the history and the architecture of Syracusa. Friendly and generous in providing stories and information. We recommend this discovery

Italo was a fantastic guide. We learned so much about so many places, many of which we otherwise would have passed right by on our own without noticing. A few of them were within a block of where we were staying and we had walked right past them not realizing they were actually Greek and medieval ruins! He is extremely knowledgeable, and it’s obvious he loves Sicilian history. He even got us into some catacombs that were not really still open (a performance group was starting rehearsal there, so he asked if we could sneak in, and we saw some amazing things there.) His enthusiasm for the history here is infectious. He is a very personable, charming person, and we really enjoyed learning from him. Highly recommend it!
