Tour guidato privato o per piccoli gruppi al Museo d'Orsay

We got no communication from the guide prior to our tour, but we arrived at the spot noted by the company 10 minutes early. Our guide arrived right at our tour start time and didn’t see us because she was at the door to the museum, up the stairs ( not where the emails told us to go). When we finally connected, she already appeared to be annoyed with us, and her attitude extended throughout the tour. She taught us very little about the artwork or the artists, and rushed us through the 5th floor exhibit. An hour into our 1.5 hour tour, she told us she had to go down to meet with another group. She said we could come with her, but didn’t say whether she would be doing anything different in their tour. We assumed she would be going through the same spiel, so we let her go early. We went through the other floors on our own, but without any of the benefits of a knowledgeable art expert. This tour was a disappointment and not worth the money.

Our tour guide was extremely passionate and knowledgeable. I have done other tour guides in this museum in the past this one I would say was the best I appreciate her passion and her insight how these paintings are done gave me new things to learn.

The woman who was my guide was excellent! She was very nice and very knowledgeable on art history and painting and sculptures. This was the best experience and I really enjoyed her descriptions. I really learned a lot from her.

My eldest daughter is really into art so I thought it'd be a nice experience to show her Van Gogh and Monet. There was so much more to see too! The art gallery is huge, we even got lost at one point looking for the children's section. We ate in the cafe which was a lovely experience and our server was very friendly. It's beautiful to see all the original clocks from when it was a train station. My only reason for not giving it 5 star is I feel the signs could have been better and laid out better as some parts of the gallery were like a maze. Also the toilets were not very clean at all which needs improving.

The tour guide never showed up so we called asking where he was. The tour company called him several times but didn’t answer. We are waiting for a refund.

My friend and I had an amazing tour of Orsay! Even though it was extremely busy our guide was phenomenal and took us through seamlessly. Unfortunately we have forgotten the name of our guide, but she was absolutely amazing. She was knowledgeable and very friendly, not only showing us the highlights but also some of her personal favourites. It was a unique tour as she explained how to actually look at paintings properly, especially the impressionists, and our perspectives changed completely. The only negative was the lack of communication from Tripadvisor / Viator / Taste of Paris. They didn’t provide me with a contact number and the location advice is outdated - it lists a Rhinoceros statue that is no longer there - so that was confusing and a bit stressful to begin with as we didn’t know if we would be able to find our guide! However, our guide called our names from the front of Orsay so it didn’t end up being an issue, and she told us she had my number anyway even if I didn’t have hers. Thank you!

Excellent tour of the museum and the art! Highly recommend to obtain a better appreciation of art history.

This was a truly unique experience but it seemed rushed. The description said 90 minutes but our tour guide was there for an hour. I appreciated her expertise and insider knowledge; it was like a fire hose of information. I learned a great deal. But after she left we stayed and attended an exhibit and looked at some of the art we had been rushed by.

Catherine was a wonderful guide with an extensive knowledge of artworks, sculptures & history of the Musee de Orsay building. She was able to accommodate my husband's wheelchair accessibility during the Tour through the crowds of visitors. She gave the highlights of the Orsay so we could wander through the Musee for the rest of the day.

Our guy never got back to us and never showed up. I asked for a refund, but I have not heard back about that either.
