Nice museum - artwork beautiful! Stay takes about 1-2 hours depending on how much you like art.

It was an excellent museum that is very well organized. We loved that it was easy to maneuver and not overwhelming in size. The collection was very good and quite extensive

Appalling service - I booked fast track Musee d’Orsay tickets days in advance of trip and received email 24 hours before the visit which had barcode for the tickets. Then without warning another email was sent cancelling tickets with no explanation at all. Do not book through Viator/Trip Advisor. Only book through the official museum website.

We spent three hours in the museum. We probably could have spent another hour. We went to the 5th floor first to see the Monet and Van Gogh paintings. We expected to see just a few but several rooms displayed paintings from Them, and we found more down on the first floor. Transforming the old train station into a museum while preserving most of the architecture was a great idea. Placing the sculptures in the open area made great sense too. Plenty of places to sit down outside the display areas. We went on a Tuesday in July. Very crowded. Only negative-not enough bathrooms.

Easy experience with timed ticket entrance and audio guides. Well worth getting the tickets ahead of time and the tickets were emailed/whatsapp to me as promised.

The address is not precise, especially for Uber; walking in 40°C is not great! I had taken the audio guide, but it was an extra charge that I was not informed about!

We loved the audio tour, it made wandering the exhibits so nice and informative. You were able to skip around and go at your own pace. I highly recommend this option

We went through the whole museum. Arrived around 10:45 am finished at 5:15 pm. I would recommend having lunch inside. We were exhausted when we left, it was a great experience! Our waiter Andre was great!

D’Orsay is massive and the building itself is a work of art. It is best to have a plan for what you most want to see. For us, it was the astonishing collection of Impressionist art on the 5th floor. Truly breathtaking stuff. There are plenty of unexpected marvels as you walk around so keep your eyes open. The cafes are wonderful as well. This was even better than expected.
