Una visita all'Oceanário de Lisboa è un'esperienza unica che ti porterà a conoscere e sentire l'indimenticabile magia del mondo sottomarino. Intraprendi questo viaggio contemplativo alla scoperta di 8000 creature marine, di 500 specie diverse. La mostra permanente (Acquario) celebra la vita sulla Terra con un acquario centrale di acqua salata da 5 milioni di litri circondato da quattro habitat marini che rappresentano gli habitat del Nord Atlantico, Antartide*, Pacifico temperato e Oceano Indiano tropicale, creando l'illusione che stiamo guardando un acquario e un oceano. La visita si svolge su due livelli, terrestre e subacqueo, attraversando le acque temperate, tropicali e fredde dei diversi oceani del pianeta. Scoprite anche le «Foreste sott’acqua», opera del maestro Takashi Amano, che ci presenta le foreste tropicali attraverso il più grande acquario naturale del mondo e la nuova mostra «Submerged Universe», un viaggio immersivo nell’immensità dell’oceano.

Beautiful aquarium with lots of exhibits
Superb relaxing experience. Great food in the café before . Super set up.
Short and sweet. Should only take 1-2 hours but there is plenty to see between all the different exhibits.
The facilities are very good, everything looks very clean, and the animals are well cared for. The downside is that the employees do not "prevent" children from climbing, stretching, and standing... etc. on the ledges in front of the (smaller) aquariums, obstructing most of the visibility for other visitors (including children who know they should not climb "there"). Quite a noisy place. A curious fact is that you get reprimanded (and made to hang up) for answering an urgent call, while no attention is given to people who are shouting, running, pushing, bothering others, and even entire families eating on the floor in front of the aquariums.
This was a repeat visit and once again, it didn’t disappoint. Highly recommend visiting.
Very large aquarium with a wide variety of sea life. Good interpretive materials. Loved seeing the sun fish, the penguins, the sharks, the garden eels, and the sea otters.
With a disability status over 60%, they did not apply a discount at the register, as stated on the website… The cashier pretended to issue the correct tickets, and then we realized that he charged the full price.
Truly magnificent and grand to do, it is breathtaking, I recommend it, there is a large hall and the subway below, it's amazing.
It is a very beautiful place where you can see various species such as sharks, manta rays, moonfish, etc. It is spectacular for children of all ages.
The aquarium is beautiful with an amazing variety of fish, and the large glass panels allow for truly great views, although it does get quite crowded. For future visitors, I would recommend skipping the cable car add-on. It is quite pricey for such a short ride and functions just like the Disney Skyliner if you’ve used it at Disney World. If you have already experienced the novelty of that type of ride, it is definitely not worth the extra cost, especially since you can get similar or better views from the local castles and other nearby attractions if you have already visited those.
